We want to say a huge thank you and 𝑾𝒆𝒍𝒍 𝑫𝒐𝒏𝒆 to one of our amazing Colleagues, Mabel, who has completed the May walking challenge in aid of Dementia UK walking over 42 miles and raising nearly £250!!! The amazing donation of £85 raised by Pavilion Court was incredible so thank you to everyone that has supported this challenge 💙

What an honour to share Pavilion Court's very first Namaste session yesterday. The lounge was turned into a warm and inviting haven with a focus on a sensory approaches, which are particularly beneficial to people living with advanced dementia.
Namaste means “To honour the spirit within” and everyone was very relaxed- enjoying wonderful sensory experiences which included tasting amazing treats, drinks and singing together. Such a team effort and very moving to see the positive impact not only for the residents but also our staff. We cannot wait until the next session 🌸
