The studio will be closed from Friday till Tuesday, as I’m off up to Glasgow, then onto the Lakes for a couple of days. So I’m afraid I’ll be closed for this weekend’s Great North Run. If you need any artwork, make sure to pop in today or tomorrow, otherwise I’ll be back in on Wednesday.

Elvet Bridge - Jim Edwards
I noticed this Durham print was missing off the gallery wall, so I’m framing one up. You may be wondering what’s different about this one. Same colour palette as I usually use, just without the heavy dark outline. I use that technique mostly on night time paintings.

An extremely long Newcastle skyline, not the usual aspect ratio I work at, but made for an interesting painting.

Last day of the Ouseburn Festival, amazed so many people visited in the rain yesterday. It’ll probably be another wet one, but don’t let that dissuade you from popping down to the Ouseburn today. There will be lots going on in the valley.
If the weather turns, you can always take shelter in my studio at 57 Lime Street. Open from 10am - 4pm.
