I'm so proud of this group of lads, they've created more FA Cup memories for this great club, and for their own careers!

We pushed Man United all the way, and the score-line didn't reflect the game. We played so well, and the lads should be so proud of their performances.

I remember making a hype video for Mark O'Brien for him to show the players before the 1st round. I added at the end ' Now its your turn to make history.' They sure did that.

What a club🧡

A top tier performance from Nick on Saturday afternoon in Doncaster helped us seal a 1-0 win - a late Seb Palmer Houlden goal won us the game.

𝑬𝑿𝑰𝑳𝑬𝑺🟠⚪⚫

As an avid football shirt collector (spent way too much money) I've always enjoyed it when we've been blessed with nice looking shirts.

I thought I'd base this post off of our 23/24 shirt colours, and throw in an extra couple of shirts which we've worn over the years. (MNDA, GLC, White/Red worn against Cambridge 19/20 etc) - We only have a few black shirts and I didn't want to reuse the same ones...

A few of these shirts hold some great memories. All 3 shirts from 18/19 are iconic with the moments which happened that season. The 12/13 red away shirt from when 'The Yak' scored the winner in the Play Off Semi Final against Grimsby. The 16/17 home shirt which we completed 'The Great Escape' in.

My personal favourites would be:

1980/81 Home Shirt- Adidas
2009/09 Away Shirt - Joma (Argentina/1976-77 remake)
2022/23 Third Shirt - Hummel (recency bias included, plus my logo features on the back🤣)

𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗔𝗣

My first full year as a 'Graphic Designer' - still find it weird to call myself that as I still feel like I dont know how I've ended up in this position 🤣

I was a teaching assistant at the start of 2023, doing this as a hobby while volunteering with Newport County - creating the big screen graphics.

I got the opportunity with a big thanks to Louis (Media Manager) to help him out with a few graphics in March. This ended up with me joining the media team for the 23/24 season. During this time, I was asked by a few different players to make an edit/video for them, which is crazy for me to think about as I would watch these players most weeks, now I was creating content for them🤩

Over the summer, I was taken on by VX3, which I'm so thankful for. They took a risk in hiring someone with little experience, but I'm hopeful it's paid off! Around the same time, I was busy creating content for Newport County (transfer window, signings, departures, new season graphics etc.)
My work was also used by Finn Balor, and Carmelo Hayes this year 🫡

I was able to take part in my first which was very fun. Coming up with idea's for transfer announcements which ended up with me and Louis pretending to bake in the Compeed Terrace (Matt Baker signed that day...)

I started to undertake some freelance work, which landed me with ASE Agency, and Cardiff City Ladies FC. Whilst still being around if Newport County need anything, as my love for the club will never go.

2023 has been a great year for me professionally, here's hoping 2024 exceeds it🤞

As 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟯 is coming to an end, I would just like to show my appreciation to everyone that I have either had the pleasure to create an edit/video for, worked with, or have interacted with my work🙌

The last year has been crazy to think about. As someone who is less than 2 years into this industry, the work that I've been able to do has been fantastic👊
Being able to do this firstly as a hobby, then to get a dream opportunity to work alongside the football club that has been my entire life was brilliant🫡

I have one more post coming out which will recap my last year, but I felt this edit needed it's own post, for me to say 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗞 𝗬𝗢𝗨 to all the sportspeople/teams!
