As a Graduate Site Engineer, you will be working with a well-established Mechanical and Construction Engineering Company.
We are embarking on a range of new Construction engineering projects throughout the UK and require a Site Engineer to join the site team.

Coordination and supervision of multiple site disciplines including work allocation.

Checking plans and drawings for quantities and accuracy.

Recording and compiling timesheets and allocation records.

Ensuring Programme dates are met and highlighting to site management any issues or forecasted delays.

Assist in overseeing the construction of buildings from the sub-structure through to hand over.

Preparation of site reports and quality assurance.

We are now seeking experienced Mechanical Site Fitters who are looking to build on a career, with a leading and diverse company, with exciting projects in Dublin, Ireland.

▪️The Role
Experience in the installation, refurbishment, commissioning, and servicing of a variety of large stainless steel structures, pipework, and vessels.

Inspection and testing of installations to ensure compliance with current standards and regulations.

Experience and working knowledge of day-to-day site management requirements including all aspects of health and safety procedures.

Working on various locations in Dublin, Ireland

▪️Essential Criteria

At least 2 years experience in site fitting
Required relevant site certifications (Safe Pass (Northern CSR), IPAF, etc.)
Ability to interpret drawings
Site experience
Full driving license
Work on initiative and part of team

▪️The Role INCLUDES:
General Yard Duties
Securing loads
Washing/cleaning of vehicles
Receiving deliveries
Stock control
Following instructions from supervisors

▪️Essential Criteria:
Full clean driving license essential
Forklift license essential
Class 1 driving license would be advantageous but not essential
Previous yard man experience is desired but not essential

Pipework going through manufacturing stage within our workshop in Newry ranging from 600mm - 1400mm.

As per our clients spec all pipework is 1.4432 stainless steel with Non - Destructive Testing of the welds also included in the project.

JK Fabrications have recently added a new piece of machinery to their workshop, the Excalibur 12.

The CNC controlled horizontal single spindle drilling line, processes flats and sections for the structural steel fabrication industry.
Processes include, counter sinking, drilling, milling, scribing and tapping.

With a bed over 16m long, our structural steel capacity has greatly increased with the purchase of this machine.
