Today I have mostly been up and down my ladders and reducing big hedges🥵

Well I thought I’d over estimated and gone to big with my new 3 metre ladders but I have to say they are a game changer 😊

Now I’m concentrating on cutting hedges and lopping trees I thought I’d treat myself to some 3 meter Henchman Ladders which can be used on uneven ground.

No more balancing on dodgy ladders or climbing trees for me 😉

So this has been a project that I’ve been chipping away at over the past couple of months and I’m just about down to a blank canvas on which I can now build on.

Next phase Lawn Refurbishment and annihilation of the ground elder in the borders.

Big hedge cutting day, and tomorrow and the next day 😉

So today I have been back to one of my jobs that I completed just 3 months ago to check on its progress and I have to say it’s coming on nicely 😉

So this garden lawn had been extremely poorly laid by the building company and as such was uneven, it had very poor drainage and this year it has also been destroyed by leatherjackets.

In just two days I have completely levelled and refurbished the lawn and for half the price of what the customers been quoted by other gardeners

This lawn had been destroyed by some cowboy landscapers and by the customers dog wee and although there is still some work needed after just one month of TLC it is starting to look like a nice lawn again.

This is the difference between a professionally cut and maintained lawn and one that isn’t and here is the result after just one month.

Just 8 days since this lawn renovation was completed and we already have lots of growth.

Just given it another seaweed feed to give it a boost so let’s see what results there is next week.

Unfortunately I forgot to take a before photo but this was a rather overgrown and tired looking garden.

After just two days hard graft weeding, edging the lawn and renovating the plant pots it now looks like a different garden.

Three years ago a customer asked me to sort this mess out and to build her a new raised bed.

This is what it looks like today 😀

It doesn’t matter if it’s a Church Yard or a Garden my standards remain the same 😉

Well it was to wet for mowing lawns for a change today so I decided get the hedge trimmer out 😉

No catch up work again today then, looking at the positive side of things though at least my lawn which I’ve just renovated is getting a good watering which will help the seed germinate.
