The chef demos will run every hour during the festival and feature the best local chefs. They will each cook a dish on stage using fresh seasonal produce while providing tips for an amateur cook from the professional kitchen.

The line up includes owner chef , .bart.polinski head chef spice expert Anita Chilpalkatty and Carmela Sereno Hayes, the Queen of Italian Cuisine in Northampton.

*Additional paid tickets are required for the cheese and cocktail masterclasses.

Tickets include admission the house. There are guided tours twice a day or you can explore at your leisure. The house will be open on both days from 10am to 4pm. Sorry but no dogs 🐕 or food or drink in the house.

One of the optional extras at this weekend's Delapré Food Festival are the cocktail masterclasses, being hosted by the expert mixologists at No 13 cocktail bar in Wellingborough.

You get to make two cocktails - a Pornstar Martini and an Elderflower Hard Seltzer made with Warner's Gin. Both are for you to drink, one during the class and the other while you enjoy the rest of the festival.

Cheese: a word to make the heart quicken and the stomach rumble. Indulge your inner cheese monster at one of the cheese masterclasses at this weekend's Delapré Food Festival. Writer and cheese expert Shane Holland will share his knowledge, along with samples from one of Borough Market's finest Heritage Cheese.

There are three sessions each day, all with a different focus, including one focussed entirely on blues. Each masterclass will last approximately 40 minutes and requires an extra ticket. Numbers are limited so please do book to guarantee your spot.

Rockys Gelato are coming to this weekend's Delapré Food Festival! These guys are proudly Britalian - they use their own, award winning, British milk - taking from their herd of Fresias - and combine it with old world techniques from Italy, to create "some of the finest gelato possible".

If you're bringing the kids to Delapré Food Festival this weekend, why not book them on to a kids cookery class with Rachel Wilson from Cookery Doodle Doo. Rachel will help them create a Yoghurt Berry Mess - a delicious summer dessert swirled with berries, yoghurt and lemon curd and layered with biscuit and meringue. You might even get a spoonful if you're quick. Or wear out the little ones on the bouncy castle.
