3 course meal £20.95 per person

If you book a table with us for 14th February, you will receive a free glass of sparkling champagne for you and your party.

Menu specials for valentine’s day:
All specials come with a fresh side salad or peas.

Starter –
• cheesy garlic bread or
• breaded mushrooms with a sweet chilli dip

Steak and homemade chips –

Fresh cooked steak with peppercorn sauce served with home-made salt and peppered chunky chips or jacket potato.

Vegetarian option

Stuffed mushroom and chunky chips –

Portabella mushrooms with goats cheese and seasoned peppers.

Desserts
Warm apple crumble OR (Served with ice cream or custard)
Chocolate fudge brownie topped in chocolate orange zest.

(We will close between 5-6pm for the Friday and Tuesday games to prep the pub and tables)
Tables will be booked for 2 hours before the game starts until closing time.
All England games will be shown at the pub but it’s by BOOKING ONLY. We will be increasing tables in the top bar but the following rules will apply -

If you don’t have a booked table and we have none free there will be no entry, the garden will be for the sole use of those who’ve booked inside tables.

You must stay in your groups of no more than 6

You must stay in your seats unless your leaving or using the loo, if this is the case you MUST be wearing a mask.

No mask no entry, we do not supply masks

You must stay 2 meters apart from the tables near you and this includes the moving of chairs.

All drinks orders will be taken at your table and not at the bar.

Please respect all covid-19 laws at all times or you will be asked to leave.

We will have plenty of staff on to look after your tables so please have your payments ready when your drinks are bought over.
The councils covid team are making visits to most pubs during these games so their are NO exceptions to the rules above.
Please be courteous and patient and we will get to you all as quickly as possible.

Hi everyone,
we hope your having a great Easter weekend. I’ve had a few calls at the pub and a few social media questions recently asking if we opening on April 12th. The company has decided that we will not be opening on April 12th but we will be opening on May 17th when we can offer you drinks and food both inside and outside which is the best option for everyone. It’s important to us that we offer you the pub in its entirety rather than just the garden. We all hope as I’m sure you do that we don’t see another lockdown as it’s been as hard on us as it has for you. We hope you will all come back in your droves on May 17th so if nothing changes we will announce it on here. We look forward to seeing you all very soon ❤️

Hey everyone,
We at the squirrels hope your all ok? As you’ve seen another extended lockdown has been announced meaning we will continue to be closed for the time being. Things are tough for all of us right now but we are fighting this virus as much as all of you so we ask you all to do as we are and stay at home and follow the rules so we can hopefully get open in late February or early March if the tiers allow us too. We sincerely hope to see you all again very soon so keep safe and well and we will all meet when it’s safe enough to do so 🙏

It is with great regret as we learn we are in Tier 2 from 2nd December that we will be staying closed for the for moment. Once we learn we can reopen we will let you know.
