Whilst it's Summer hols for lots of people there are still plenty of things going on at Hope this week. Amongst some of this week's 'thank you' shout-outs are:

🥫 British Pepper And Spice Brackmills who have been collecting this lovely haul for us!

🚗 Circle Health/Three Shires Hospital whose Exec Director Matthew Cook came and loaded his car ready for his team's stint at Holcot car boot for us today (we are so excited to hear how well they do!)

❓Tonight is Delapre Golf Club Captain's quiz in aid of Hope. A sold out evening which I'm sure will be great fun

📢We are at a few events over the next few months and we are in need of more tombola prizes. If you have any really good quality gift sets/smellies/chocolates/candles you'd like to donate please drop them off at our Ash Street offices for Hope (yes that is really her name!) or Michelle.

Our Food Club at Blackthorn Community Centre is open tomorrow between 10-11am. Please come down if you are struggling to afford food. We have a good supply of food to support you and are a friendly bunch! Just turn up to register. 💜

🌟 Support a Story, Sponsor an Artwork! 🌟

American artist Sally Sheinman has created 52 unique artworks, each inspired by personal stories of homelessness, hardship, and recovery collected over a year at the Hope Centre. These deeply meaningful pieces are framed on cardboard, symbolizing the resilience of those living on the margins.

Businesses and individuals can sponsor an artwork for £50, with funds going to support the Hope Centre. Sponsors will be recognized with their business details associated with the artwork.

It feels a VERY long way off yet but we are planning our popular Christmas fair and are looking for stall holders!
Stall holder fee is just £50 for each date. Take advantage of our early bird booking of £80 for booking both days (offer ends 20th Sept).❄️❄️

Take on 'The Tower' and abseil down Northampton's iconic lift tower, or brave a skydive to help us raise vital funds.

We cook up to 65 hot meals everyday at Handup our homeless centre and provide hundreds of people with food every week through our food clubs.

Fundraising for Hope enables us to support more people facing homelessness and hardship.

Our weekly Food Clubs at Kingsheath (9:15) and Ash St (12:00) are open tomorrow. Our Food Club allows members to access low-cost food and household goods and a range of support services. Have a look at this selection of food from our Club at Blackthorn.

Community Law will also be at Ash St tomorrow for advice.

Booking is already open for this year's Amazing Northampton Run. On the 15th September, run the half marathon for Hope and help us support people who are homeless and in hardship.

We are just 5 cyclists short of our 50 cyclists taking part in our Northampton to Paris Cycle. Sign up to help us achieve 50 cyclists on our milestone year! This year it's a classic ride, departing from Northampton and ending in beautiful Paris.

The numbers of people losing their homes, or struggling with serious hardship have increased over the last few years, we see new registrations nearly every day. Can you help us raise vital funds to support people this year?

We are on the look out for celebrities to support our charity pillow project. The pillow represents somewhere safe to lay your head. We are asking them to get creative and write or draw what home means to them. The designs will help raise awareness around homelessness, we will be holding an auction to raise vital funds to help the people we support.

We supported 50 individuals in HandUp today, and registered two new to our service.

Some supporters of Hope have been busy fundraising for us in recent weeks. Two to highight are:

🏌️Roy Tebbutt who held a golf day and race night

🥊Our superstar volunteer Richard Sampson who organised a took part in a white collar boxing match. What lengths to go to for such a great cause!

🥤Also we had contact us to offer us loads of drinks and water to help keep our service users and volunteers cool in the warm weather.

Thank you so much to everyone who helps us out in whatever way they can. We are so greatful!

We supported 45 individuals in HandUp today, and registered one new individual.

HUGE thanks to Verve Workspace for donating 36 mugs to help us today!

Can you help us today? We have around 60 individuals in service and can only find 20 mugs/cups.

If you have any spare to donate, please can you drop them at reception, Oasis House, NN1 3DS.

We have been saddened by recent acts of violence and threats made against our communities. Racism, hatred and discrimination against people based on their race or ethnicity have no place in our country.

More donations for the Hope Foodclub!

Christine (pictured right), one of our Healthcare Assistants, and Julie Perkins, a nurse (pictured left), have been busy securing various goods. With the help of Christine’s son Gavin, daughter-in-law Gemma, and friend Claire Craddock, many toiletries, sanitary products, and other personal items have been generously donated.
