Tickets are on sale now for our annual charity ball which this year has a Strictly theme! It's on Saturday, September 27, in aid of the Northamptonshire and Milton Keynes Community Foundations. Tickets are £68 each with a 10 per cent discount for tables of 10 and it's at Whittlebury Hall, Towcester. Tickets include a Champagne reception, three-course dinner with wine, plus dancing and a brilliant live band called The Souljers until 1am. Just been to see the lovely Prity at DUSK TILL DAWN in Olney who's helped me and Image photographerand self-confessed tomboy Kirsty Edmonds choose our dresses for the Image Hollywood Ball a week today (last few tickets still available!) and also has some amazing dresses for hire or sale for Strictly Northampton. I was with her for hours looking through her incredible collection of elegant ball dresses and sparkly, sequinned short numbers.

(Huge groan) My boss has just played back my radio broadcast to the entire editorial floor and I am never going to live it down . . . well, better to be honest.
