I have heard, only yesterday that I have had my Original Harvest Mouse Pastel drawing accepted for the Cheshire Visual Arts Exhibition at Barons Quay, Northwich in Cheshire. I am so pleased it's going to be in the Exhibition in July 2023.

I enjoyed creating it as they are wonderful little creatures ❤️ Lots of detail went into this drawing as I wanted to capture them as the delicate, beautiful, curious and tiny little mammals they are.

I feel very humbled to have at least two in our garden and it's a treat to see them. Amazing little things have made a nest in a Mango of all things, only found by accident watching a little baby return to the nest in a tiny hole in the dried out fruit. 😊

He has arrived!!

'Contemplation of life in the jungle' is now exhibited at VACS, Barons Quay, Northwich Cheshire. I am excited to see my 2nd Original Pastel accepted in the VAC Exhibition in place. 🙂

The last piece sold 'Blackberry Feast' - Field Mice at the VAC in 2022. I wonder if this Great Ape will find his forever home outside the jungle?

One of the reasons I enjoy drawing animals the most is that they have wonderful personalities and that they touch our hearts in so many ways. I loved every bit of drawing Jack, he has left a paw print on my heart too from the moment his eyes appeared in front of me. As ever I am very grateful to have been asked to recreate Jack in Pastel. Thank you Jack's loving owners ❤️
