This self care business is a full time job!! I find that using my Google calendar to plan what activities I’ll do during the week really helps me plan and know that I DO have enough time to look after myself!

Ordered the upgraded version of these bad boys today… I’ve always been super sensitive to noise, and as a light sleeper, even the smallest sounds can keep me up at night. But ever since I started using Loop earplugs, it’s like I’ve found my little bubble of peace. They’re comfy enough to wear all night and make such a difference in drowning out the usual noise that used to drive me crazy. My sleep game has seriously leveled up! 😴💤
Struggled to get out of the house yesterday, but I still managed to run 3.5k with the pups and get some admin done. My main goal was to make it to the yard and exercise Merlin, and I did it! 🎉 Took me 45 minutes of faffing around (lost my gloves, of course 😅), but I finally got in the saddle and rode for 45 minutes.
MORAL OF THE STORY- Instead of beating myself up, I’m celebrating the small wins—made it to the yard, got in 15 minutes of schooling, and a little hack with Merlin’s bestie, Mo. 🐴💪

🔴 Panic Zone - Stretch too far and you end up here. It can feel overwhelming. Here, you won’t be able to learn or do anything.

I believe Merlin chose me just as much as I chose him to be my partner in equine coaching. When I went to meet Merlin, I took my time with him—standing in his stable, walking him around, and riding him slowly and gently, without demands.
I was looking for a connection to see if we could work together and combine our energies to create a magical space for clients, where unbelievable transformation can happen. In the arena, off lead, Merlin was free to eat grass and wander. He stayed close, munching on some grass but ultimately joining with me.
I knew then we would make a great team to help our clients achieve greatness too! 🌟🐴💖

Merlin is such a soft, sensitive soul. His ability to understand your thoughts, intentions, and body language never ceases to amaze me. I can't help but wonder if behind those eyes, he's secretly asking, "You got any horse cookies?" 😂
What is Equine Coaching?
If you've noticed a lot of horsey content here lately, it's because I'm adding a new service to my therapeutic practice - Equine Coaching.
It's is a fun, experiential form of Life Coaching combined with Psychotherapy techniques that utilizes the horses presence in your session.
All sessions are ground-based and don't involve any riding, so even if you don't have 'horse experience', these sessions are for you!
This form of coaching is incredibly powerful and can help with things like:
✨ Finding solutions
✨ Recognizing unhelpful patterns
✨ Building new habits
✨ Boosting confidence
✨ Managing stress

Before joining our team, Merlin underwent hock fusion surgery to combat osteoarthritis. Now, he's on a path to recovery with a regular long-reining exercise routine. This helps build his core strength and balance, keeping him strong and healthy. 🏇💪

🐴 Busy Morning for Merlin! 🐴
Merlin had quite the productive day today! He started off with a visit from the farrier for a much-needed pedicure. After getting his hooves looking great, he headed to the gym (arena) to work on his fitness.
It's wonderful to see him so engaged and relaxing into his new home here with our coaching and therapy team. Keep up the great work, Merlin!
