Feeling comfortable in your own skin is happiness.
I must say it has taken me many years to feel confident in my own skin, and I think the turning point was when I became a mum for the first time.
I am not saying that for one to feel comfortable in their own skin they have to experience motherhood...but I am telling you now...that when you feel comfortable in your own skin then this is happiness.
The moment you will realise that there is only one you, one unique you, with your positives and your “negatives”, with your unique natural beauty then you will instantly change the way you will look at yourself in the mirror will change for the better.

Preservative-free skincare that includes aqua (water) or any other water-phase ingredients, does not exist. I repeat it does not exist.
This is my pet peeve. I see greenwashing companies left right and centre claiming they make anti-ageing face creams without preservatives.
There is no such thing and unless you enjoy rubbing fungi, bacteria and other microorganisms on your face stay away from such products.
If you want honesty for your skin, you have arrived at the right place. If you are seeing this post and you are not following make sure to follow for more skin truths.
Preservatives in skincare products that include aqua, hydrosols, flower waters etc., are VITAL, I repeat VITAL to ensure that the product does not spoil and is safe for you to use.
Any greenwashing company that claims it is 100% preservative-free is simply using this term as a marketing gimmick. But fear not, I am here to shed the truths to all the natural skincare gimmicks pulled at you to make you believe that you are choosing a product that is safe for you.
In reality, those companies are using preservatives, and they are simply not declaring them...stay away from that.
Honesty, Integrity is what we stand for here at Piotis Naturals. I formulate creams using carefully selected COSMOS approved preservatives, which means those preservatives are safe to use and are deemed acceptable from the organic accreditation authority for cosmetics.
Safe preservatives are vital to ensure the product stays fresh for you to use it. So stay away from any preservative-free gimmicks of any greenwashing companies.
P.S. Products that don't include an aqueous phase, can well and safely not include preservatives, and this is acceptable as if the product was formulated properly preservatives are not necessary. I do the same for the healing eczema butter, deodorant, body butter, and other salves which I formulate.
