We are now closed for the season but just wanted to thank all of our customers for another fantastic year!

We will be returning in April and we have lots of plans for next season as we continue to grow bigger and better as each year passes

River cleans and the uncomfortable reality....

Hi everyone, we did our annual end of season river clean this morning and we think it's always worth a mention of what we found (in one 500 metre patch)

We collected: 20 plastic bottles, 15 cans ,14 bottles, 3 tennis balls, 2 shoes, 1 sock, 1 golf ball, 1 teddy bear and 1 pram (a bloody pram!)

Despite this, we have (where possible) recycled everything we collected though!

As much as we moan about the water companies, we ourselves need to also be better in regards to how we respect and look after the amazing river asset that we have flowing through the heart of our city.

Heading out for some paddling on the Broads? Before you go, it’s important to understand the rules of the river and how to stay safe on the water.

Here are some key tips:

🛟 Wear a buoyancy aid—whether you’re kayaking, canoeing, or paddleboarding, it’s essential for your safety. Paddleboarders should also wear a tether or leash.

🛟 Stick to the right side of the river and be mindful of other river users, especially larger boats and sailing craft that may need extra space.

🛟 Plan your route ahead of time and avoid trespassing on private waters. Most of the Broads are accessible, but some areas are off-limits. If in doubt, ask someone before you set off.

🛟 Keep an eye on the weather - conditions can change quickly, particularly at this time of the year, so make sure you're prepared for wind, rain, or storms.

🛟 In case of an emergency, contact 999 and ask for the coastguard. Knowing your exact location will help them reach you faster.

Introducing… TINDER TUESDAYS!

A lot of our staff go travelling while we’re closed for the winter period and having experienced what other places have to offer for meeting likeminded people, we’ve concluded Norwich is lacking in its dating scene.

Which is where Tinder Tuesdays comes in - The aim is to have a place for single people to mingle, potentially find a partner or a friend for life (or both), all while enjoying the outdoors and trying something new!

They’re exclusively running on Tuesdays throughout August, with ages 21-35 going during the 7pm booking and 35+ welcome to the 6pm.

Keep an eye out for more info over the next few days, what’s stopping you grabbing another of your single mates and heading down for a paddle which may lead to more 🤭
