I wonder if those who have the biggest holes in their hearts are also the ones who have the greatest capacity to let the light come in.
To love
To give
To weep their sorrows into gratitude. That is to say, sometimes brokenness has a way of cracking you right down to your barest parts.
And when you have nothing left to hide, nowhere left to go,
And no one left beside you
You can either choose to become a boarded up wall or a wide open window.

Losing someone dear to you is one of life’s most difficult experiences, and it’s important to remember that grief is a personal journey. There’s no right or wrong way to feel.
