Many people have always asked how my dad is as many knew him from lingwood or brundall chippy but sadly he passed away last Wednesday so please forgive us if we’re not our chatty selves

Morning everyone, some may not of seen yesterdays post but my dad sadly passed away yesterday morning he finally gave in to his dementia so we won’t be out today or tomorrow at great Plumstead or Heathlands Social Club & Community Centre .

What a busy day at lingwood fete lovely turnout for em .
Thanks to Whiskins - The bar at Lingwood Village Hall and Lingwood Village Hall for asking us .
Not only that but we had a special visit from Leon Mallett ,who we used to serve when him and his brother were young at lingwood chippy .
It was also lovely to see so many of our old lingwood chippy customers

Today the (27th June ) we will be frying at great Plumstead village hall but finishing slightly earlier
So 4:30-7pm so I can get to see my dad as getting weaker each day now

Evening all , we will be frying at Whiskins - The bar at Lingwood Village Hall for the lingwood fete on Sunday (30th June ) 12-4 see you there . Quite a line up of activities and stalls plus the famous mallet brothers are singing , perhaps we might be lucky enough to get a photo with em on the van 😂

Well Monday was MOT time and Nigel farrows never let us down and jimmy was so excited to see the nippy Chippy van ,he just had to have a photo in the drivers seat ,bless him.
Then afterwards got fuel at the jet garage on plumstead Road and they were running a promotion “ wheel spins”….. I only went and one a £70 voucher .happy days

It truly is good we will be back open as usual today as we have got our range fixed!

Hours for the week:
Wed - 12:00 - 2:30 + 4:30-7:30
Thursday/fri/sat - 12:00 - 2:30 + 4:30 - 9:00
Sunday - open from 2

Hello all,

The issues with our range are still ongoing however we are open this lunchtime 12-2. We are next door (on our car park) to the shop using the van Nippy chippy Norfolk has kindly allowed us to borrow. However they will be at fleggburgh village hall tonight 4:30-7:30 and therefore we will have to close the shop. If you are able to why not take a drive out to Fleggburgh for the same delicious fish and chips at a slightly discounted rate.
