The Holt Town Shelter was built by local craftsmen to commemorate the millennium (It is also a bus stop shelter for local bus services).
There is a wooden bench running the length of the shelter with an Owl, the town symbol, seated above the date, 2000. On the roof is a small lead roofed turret with a three-face clock donated by Watsons almost 25 years ago! Have you ever noticed this before?
