Lovely outing with the young guns at John Lake Riding Club dressage for a morning of firsts for the new boys!

First up was Teddy owned by Denise Allen-Rogers who’s only been in for schooling just over two weeks and never seen a dressage board in his life let alone doing a test! He went down that centre line like he’d been doing it all his life and produced a nice test for 69.1% for 🥇 place! Good start for him!

Next up was Ossian owned by Lady Susan who also who also done his first competitive dressage test!! (Picture with Jane Aarons) Only been in for a short period of time but he produced a really nice first test with a rider error in the middle for 66.4% for 🥉 place!!

Some really lovely and fair comments about the boys today who both have a very exciting future ahead of them! Thank you to Jackie Staff for organising and my team at home who helped with getting everything together so we could get the job down today! Super experience for them both who would have learnt a lot from this outing!

Ossian owned by Lady Susan coming on leaps and bounds over the last few weeks! Third arena hire since being with us and he jumps like this 😍 still quite green but really impressed with how he’s coming on in a short period of time! looking forward to furthering his education over the next few months!!

Been some very long days fitting people in around this but what a super fun week teaching for the first time with the Waveney Harriers Pony Club Camp 2024 at Sotterly Park! Had a really lovely group of girls who were a pleasure to teach! Might be biased but I do think my ride was one of the best 👀😉.

Thank you to everyone involved and to the DC Sarah Canham for inviting me to teach at this years camp. Also to who had involvemnet in making this happen! 🐎🏕️
