The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last weekend with one match taking place.

Championship

North Walsham Town Old Boys hosted Sprowston at Green Road and were made to battle for all three points. They just edged a nine goal thriller as they won 5-4 thanks to goals from Lee Cutting, Ben Lloyd, Daniel Tindall and a brace from Dale Wilton.

League One (East)

Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers were awarded a Walkover against FC Unathletico.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last weekend with fixtures in two Divisions.

Championship

There were two matches played in the Championship, with a third match being awarded as a Walkover. The Walkover went to North Walsham Town Old Boys who were due to play Micawbers Tavern. Sprowston travelled to the Cottage and won 5-2, a result that keeps their aspirations of finishing second alive. East Harling and Wensum Albion Old Boys finished their season in a high scoring affair, with East harling winning 6-4. The scorers for East Harling were Todd Hill, Benjamin Chase (2) and a hat-trick for Stephen Best. Wensum Albion’s scorers were Richard Powell, Damion Vincent and a brace for Peter Gorbould. These results mean that North Walsham Town Old Boys are crowned Championship Winners, with a game to spare. Congratulations!

League One (East)

There was only one match in this Division with Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers hosting FC Unathletico, knowing a win would secure them the title. They won 2-0 thanks to goals from David Crow and Oliver Southgate, meaning that they are the League One (East) Champions!

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last weekend with fixtures in two Divisions.

Championship

There was a full programme of fixtures in the Championship with all eight teams in action. The Cottage hosted Unthank Arms and the away side took all three points in a 2-1 win thanks to goals from Edward Myers and Alberto Bonferroni. Micawbers Tavern travelled to Morley & Deopham and returned home with a 4-2 win. The scorers for Micawbers were Lewis Allen, Phillip Kelly, Scott Lindsay and Adam McPhee. Sprowston hosted East Harling and cruised to a 6-1 victory, after leading 3-1 at half-time. The biggest result of the day came in the match between Wensum Albion and North Walsham Town, with the Angels winning 10-0, a game that included four goals each for Lee Cutting and Dale Wilton.

League One (East)

There were two games played in League One (East) with the third match being a walkover awarded to Martham. Harleston Travelled to Aylsham and suffered their biggest loss of the season, a 6-1 defeat. A David Moon hat-trick aided Aylsham in their victory! The other match in the Division saw FC Unathletico host Hemsby Vikings, with the Vikings coming out 3-0 winners thanks to goals from Christian Brown, Adrian Coote and Simon Spencer.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last week with fixtures in four Divisions.

Premiership

There were two matches in the Premiership with Cringleford Veterans visiting Yaxham and Fakenham Town hosting Mulbarton Wanderers. Cringleford ran out 5-0 winners against second-placed Yaxham thanks to goals from Thomas Fitchew, and a brace each for Gavin Lemmon and Shaun Wones. It was a seven goal thriller at Fakenham as they won 4-3 against Mulbarton, a result that confirms the Ghosts will finish in fourth place, with Mulbarton currently in third.

Championship

There was also only one match in the Championship as Sprowston travelled to Wensum Albion Old Boys and returned home with all three points. Despite drawing 1-1 at half-time, the Boars managed to win the game 3-2 after 90 minutes. Richard Powell scored twice for Wensum Albion and the Sprowston scorers were James Denmark and a brace for Daniel Childerhouse.

League One (East)

There were two matches in League Two (East) with Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers visiting Hemsby Vikings and Martham hosting FC Unathletico. Dussindale moved a point off the top, behind Harleston, thanks to a 5-3 win against Hemsby, goals from Josh Cadwallader, Troy Lowthorpe, and a hat-trick from Alexander Hall. Unathletico got their third win of the season away to Martham with a 4-1 scoreline with goals coming in the form of James Brown and a Dan Davies hat-trick.

League Two (West)

The only game in the Division took place last Wednesday as Woottons Old Boys travelled to Terrington for a midweek match. Terrington ran out 8-3 winners thanks to goals from Martyn Allen, Adam Playford, Del Thorpe and five from Simon Bush. That result completed the League Two (West) season, with AFC Lynn Napier finishing top after winning all 10 of their matches.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last weekend with fixtures in four Divisions.

Premiership

There was only one match played in the Premiership as Wymondham Town travelled to Horsford. This was both their final game of the season and it saw Wymondham run out 3-1 winners thanks to a goal from Scott Tuttle and a brace from Rob Browne. This result moved Town above Horsford in the League table.

Championship

There was also only one match in the Championship as Sprowston ran out 10-1 winners against Micawbers Tavern. Both Aaron Kay and Daniel Childerhouse scored hat tricks for the Boars.

League Two (East)

There were two matches in League Two (East) as Scole United hosted Erpingham United and One Love United hosted Newton Flotman. Scole scored seven without reply against Erpingham, a result that means they will finish third and Erpingham will finish bottom having won two games this season. One Love United and Newton Flotman enjoyed a high scoring affair with Newton Flotman winning 9-5 in what was both their last match of the season! The result means that Newton Flotman finish as runners up and One Love finish in sixth.

League Two (West)

In the only game in the Division, Necton visited Costessey Sports. Costessey Sports won 7-2 to get their second win of the season in their final match. However, the result still leaves them bottom of the table and Necton are currently fourth, but their final position could change depending on other results.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last weekend with fixtures in four Divisions.

Premiership

There were two fixtures in the Premiership, with only one being played. Fakenham Town received a Home Walkover against Horsford. Yaxham hosted Mulbarton Wanderers and won 6-1 thanks to goals from Joseph Marczewski, Stuart Woodcock, Stephen Jones and a hat-trick from Craig Gamble. This result keeps Yaxham second with only two games left to play.

Championship

There were three matches played in the Championship as the season approached it’s finishing stages. Unthank extended their lead at the top thanks to a 2-0 win at home to Wensum Albion, with the goals from Lee Askew and Martin Ferguson. North Walsham Town moved into second place after a 5-3 away win against East Harling, a game which included a hat-trick for Dale Wilton of the Angels. In the other game in the Division, Cottage visited Morley & Deopham in what was as tight game, the home side just edging it with a 3-2 win.

League One (East)

Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers moved into first place with an emphatic 8-0 win against Stoke United, a game in which they had seven different scorers. Aylsham won 3-0 at home to FC Unathletico with goals from Mark Gaskin and a brace from David Moon. Hemsby hosted Martham in a nine goal thriller, with the away side winning 6-3. Robert Southern was the hat-trick hero for Martham.

League Two (East)

In the only game in the Division, Erpingham won 3-2 against Newsman Valhalla which was their second win of the season. The goals for Erpingham were from Phil Graveling and a brace from Stuart James Utting. Robert Barnes and Liam Murphy were on the scoresheet for Newsman Valhalla.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last weekend with fixtures in all Divisions.

Premiership

Fakenham Town visited Wymondham Town and returned home with all three points after a 5-2 victory, despite drawing 1-1 at half time. YBV Costessey won comfortably at home against Mulbarton Wanderers after scoring eight unanswered goals which included an Aaron Saddleton hat-trick.

Championship

In the only game in the Championship, Sprowston and Unthank Arms played out a 0-0 draw. This result leaves Unthank top of the table with Sprowston in second, trailing by nine points but with three games in hand. North Walsham Town can also go top if they win their games in hand.

League One (East)

There were two games in League One (East) with Aylsham hosting Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers, and Martham travelling to Harleston Town. Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers kept up the pressure on Harleston by beating Aylsham 6-1 thanks to goals from Alex Cook (2), David Crow (2), Alex Ingham and Faizel Desai. Harleston edged out Martham with a 4-3 victory which included a hat-trick for Nicholas Howell to keep them top by a point.

League One (West)

There were also two matches in League One (West) that saw the season completed in this Division. Outwell Swifts completed the perfect League season with a 4-1 win away to Mundford. In their final match, Woottons got their first points of the season with a 4-1 win against Rockland United. Congratulations to Outwell Swifts on winning all eight of their League matches.

League Two (East)

There were two games in League Two (East) which included a 3-3 draw between Erpingham United and One Love United. Erpingham were trailing 3-1 during the second half but thanks to two goals from 65 year old, Stephen Hagon, they recused a point. Newton Flotman went clear of Scole United in third place on points thanks to a 2-0 away win against Newsman Valhalla, thanks to goals from Barry Cooke and Damien Kerton.

League Two (West)

There was only one game in League Two (West) as AFC Lynn Napier travelled to Costessey Sports and scored 15 unanswered goals which included three for Adam Key and four for Andrew Wood. This result means that AFC Lynn Napier finish the League season having won all 10 of their matches, scoring 71 goals and only conceding 7 in the process. Congratulations to them on their success.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued last week with two games on Sunday and one on Thursday evening.

Premiership

Cringleford Veterans visited Fakenham Town on Thursday evening and returned home with all three points thanks to scoring three unanswered goals. Wesley Hoolahan scored twice, and Chris Holmes scored the third.

Championship

Sprowston hosted Micawbers Tavern on Sunday in The Championship and won a very close game 3-2, Scott Lindsay scored a brace for Micawbers. This result moved Sprowston above their opponents into third place.

League One (East)

The only game in League One (East) was between Aylsham and Hemsby Vikings. Aylsham moved into third place with a 3-2 home win thanks to goals from Daniel Barnard and a brace from William Abbs.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued on Sunday with twelve games taking place across all six Divisions.

Premiership

There were two games in the Premiership this week with Fakenham Town travelling to Mulbarton Wanderers and Wymondham Town hosting Horsford. Mulbarton won 3-1 against the Ghosts thanks to goals from Ian Babb, Michael Robinson and Lee Sim. There were four different scorers for Wymondham Town in their 4-2 win over Horsford. Ross Branigan, Gareth Downs, Luke Rackham and Daniel Hatch were all on the scoresheet. That result was Wymondham’s first points of the season.

Championship

There were also only two matches in the Championship. Unthanks Arms won comfortably at home against Cottage thanks scoring eight goals without reply which included braces for Lee Askew, Ben Moore and Paul Jones. East Harling and Micawbers Tavern shared the points with a 2-2 draw after Micawbers came from 1-0 down at half time.

League One (East)

There were two games in League One (East). Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers beat Stoke United 3-1 thanks to goals from Troy Lowthorpe and a double from Allan Willrich. Daniel Thomas scored a consolation goal for Stoke. Hemsby travelled to Martham and were on the wrong side of a 9-2 scoreline. Robert Southern scored five for Martham.

League One (West)

In the only game in League One (West), Rockland United and Cringleford Old Boys shared the points after a 3-3 draw, which included two goals for Cringleford’s, Mehmet Ozdemir.

League Two (East)

There was a full programme of fixtures in League Two (East) with six of the seven teams in action. Cromer YOB dropped points for the first time this season as they drew 3-3 with Newsman Valhalla after leading 3-0 at half time. Cromer YOB will have the chance to complete their League season unbeaten if they can avoid a loss against the same opposition in their last game. Erpingham United and Scole United also drew 3-3, a result that leaves Scole third. The surprise result of the division was that One Love United got their second win of the season in a 7-5 away win against Newton Flotman, who are much higher placed in the table. Jason Harris scored four for Newton Flotman.

League Two (West)

There were two matches in League Two (West) with Necton hosting AFC Lynn Napier and Swaffham Town visiting Woottons Old Boys. AFC Lynn Napier made it a maximum 27 points from nine matches with a 6-0 win against Necton, goals from Andrew Wood, Ashley Smith, Neil Goodbourn, Darran Hewitt and two for Kenzie Corbett. Woottons and Swaffham shared the points in a 1-1 draw, a result that leaves the pedlars in third and Wootons in fifth.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued on Sunday with eleven games taking place across all six Divisions.

Premiership

There were two games in the Premiership with Wymondham Town hosting Mulbarton Wanderers and YBV Costessey travelling to Yaxham. Mulbarton returned home with all three points after a tight game which they edged 3-2 at King’s Head Meadow. Karl Pask and David Ramsbottom scored the goals for Town. Yaxham moved to the top of the table with a 5-4 home win against previously unbeaten YBV Costessey. Stuart Woodcock scored four for Yaxham with Jason Cole scoring the fifth. Costessey’s scorers were Carl Branson, Aaron Saddleton and a brace from Darren Smith. Yaxham have played more games than the teams below them but are top currently having won six of their nine matches.

Championship

There were also only two matches in the Championship. Unthanks Arms won comfortably at home against Morley & Deopham thanks scoring three goals without reply which included a Lee Askew brace. East Harling moved into sixth place with a 1-0 win away to Wensum Albion Old Boys, Jack Walker got the all-important goal for Harling.

League One (East)

There was only one game in League One (East) as Aylsham travelled to Martham and returned home with all three points thanks to a 3-2 victory. That result moved them up to third in the League table.

League One (West)

There was also only one game in League One (West) as Mundford welcomed Woottons to The Glebe. Mundford ran out 6-0 winners, a result that leaves them second in the table with only one game left to play.

League Two (East)

There was a full programme of fixtures in League Two (East) with six of the seven teams in action. Cromer YOB made it ten wins in as many games with a 7-3 away win against Erpingham United. Cromer had five different scorers who were Christopher Chisholm, Billy Edwards, Ryan Whittingham and a brace each for Gareth Sanderson and Liam Walsh. Newsman Valhalla overtook their opponents, FC Viking on goal difference with a 3-1 away win. The final game saw Scole United beat second placed side, Newton Flotman 2-1 thanks to goals from Chris Young and Thomas Barker.

League Two (West)

There were two matches in League Two (West) with Necton hosting Woottons Old Boys and AFC Lynn Napier visiting Terrington. Necton moved into fourth place with a 4-1 win against Woottons Old Boys, leapfrogging them in the process. AFC Lynn Napier won the top of the table clash with Terrington 3-0, a result that gives them a maximum 24 points from eight games. Napier's goals were from Neil Goodbourn and a brace from Ashley Smith.

One Broker Veterans Cup

The Semi-Finals of the County Cup were also played with Sprowston and Cringleford Veterans progressing to the Final. The Final is to be played at Harrod Sport Arena, The FDC on Friday 21 April with kick off at 7:45pm.

The One Broker Ltd Veteran’s League continued on Sunday with games in three Divisions.

League One (East)

There was only one game in League One (East) as Harleston Town hosted Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers in a top of the table clash. Dussindale & Hellesdon Rovers came out on the right side of a 2-1 scoreline with goals from Alex Cook and David Crow. Paul Bliss scored for Harleston. That result means that Rovers can now catch table-toppers Harleston if they win games in hand.

League One (West)

There was only one game in League One (West) as Rockland United made the trip to Outwell Swifts. The Swifts won convincingly with a 6-1 scoreline and made it seven wins out of a possible seven having scored 41 goals and only conceding 7.

League Two (East)

There were two matches in League Two (East) that both resulted in score draws. Newton Flotman visited FC Viking and shared the points in a 2-2 draw which included a brace for David Burgess of Newton Flotman. The other draw ended 3-3 between Scole United and One Love United, a result that keeps Scole third and One Love sixth. The goal scorers for Scole were Adam Solley and a brace from Marc Hammond, and the scorers for One Love were Ricky Green and two for David Francis.

Championship

There was a full programme of fixtures in the Championship last Weekend with all eight teams in action. The Unthank Arms dropped points for only the second time this season after Micawbers Tavern beat them 4-1, scorers for Micawbers were Scott Lindsay, Adam McPhee, Graham Moss and Adam Kobylecki. The Cottage beat East Harling by the odd goal of eleven after leading 4-3 at half time. That result moves the Cottage up to fifth in the table. Morley & Deopham shared the points with Wenusm Albion Old Boys after a 2-2 draw, the scorers for Wenusm were Ryan Newell and Steven Warman. Sprowston hosted North Walsham Town in a 10 goal thriller, with the away side winning 7-3. That result means the Angels are able to go top if they win their games in hand over The Unthank Arms.

League Two (West)

There was only one game in League Two (West) as Swaffham Town travelled to AFC Lynn Napier. The home side were 6-0 up at half time before extending their lead in the second period, making the final score 11-1. The scorers for Napier were Andrew Wood (3), Adam Key (3), Kenzie Corbett (2) and Dan Buhlemann (3) on debut. That result makes it seven wins out of seven for Lynn Napier.

Premiership

There were two games played in the Premiership with Fakenham Town hosting Wymondham Town and Cringleford Veterans travelling to Mulbarton Wanderers. Fakenham needed two second half goals to win 2-1 against Wymondham, this result moves the Ghosts into fifth place. Cringleford made it six wins in as many games with a 3-1 away win at Mulbarton. The scorers for Cringleford were Lee Mason, Shaun Wones and Brais Villa Brana.

League Two (East)

There was a full programme of fixtures in League Two (East) last Weekend. Newton Flotman were the highest scoring side thanks to putting six unanswered goals past Newsman Valhalla. This result leaves Newton Flotman second and Newsman in fifth place. Cromer YOB made it a maximum 27 points from nine matches thanks to a comfortable 5-1 win against FC Viking, the scorers for YOB were Billy Edwards, Ben Sharman (2) and Ryan Whittingham (2). There was a bottom of the table clash between Erpingham United and One Love United with the points being shared after a 2-2 draw. One Love were unable to hold into their 2-1 half time lead with Erpingham scoring a second half equaliser and neither side able to find a winner.
