Lashes last around 6 weeks with the main aftercare being in the first 24 hours, after that, they are low maintenance with no regular cleaning or maintenance un-like lash extensions! And for the brows yearly-2 yearly touch ups are required for maintenance of colour and definition! ☁️

Just a huge thank you to my lovely amazing clients for all the little gifts for baby girl and the hugs and just listening to me chew your ear off about pregnancy and babies 🤣

I’m so overwhelmed with love from the last couple of weeks, our friends threw us the most incredible surprise baby shower, when it’s your third you kind of just think, well I’ve done it three times, we don’t need to celebrate! but they completely took it out of my hands and let us really feel the love and support🩷 I’m half way through my last month leading up to maternity leave.. WHERE DOES THE TIME GO?!

I’m now heading off for a lovely week with my family on the beach before baby comes so please bare with me if I’m slow with replies 🩷

This corrective brow set was such a pleasure to do 🤍

This lovely client has been recommended me by a lovely friend after some laser removal sessions, working over old work even after removal can be really un predictable and I’m always quite honest about what’s possible when working with older work and am always happy to make other suggestions if we can’t quite achieve what the client has in mind when working over older work, however these brows exceeded my expectations and her skin was a dream! 🤍

This was such a lovely set of brows to go out on before maternity leave, and I am currently now officially FULLY BOOKED until September. Again, for regular clients I will be doing some appointments in September, but this is STRICTLY if baby hasn’t made an appearance so for that time I will not be taking deposits just in case 🤣 HOWEVER appointments are bookable on the booking system for November as that’s my planned return date 🤍 just bare in mind that, it does depend on how birth goes and how baby is 🥹

Now to complete my last month at work before the arrival of baby girl! I have so many wonderful client touch ups/facials and beauty treatments filling up my diary, and again.. as always I am so grateful for you all 🤍

Covers microblading, hairstroke brows, combination brow, shaded brow and more, is a semi-permanent makeup technique where I use a specialized tool to implant pigment into the skin, mimicking an eyebrow. The names listed above are all a form of cosmetic tattooing but refer to the STYLE or tool used the achieve the desired result.

This procedure enhances, reshapes, or fills in gaps in the eyebrows, providing a more defined and fuller appearance. The results typically last between one to three years, depending on skin type and aftercare.

How do I know what style is right for me?

During the treatment we do a thorough consultation where we discuss your desired result and what tool/style will best suit what you have envisioned your brows to look like! 🤍

What did this client ask for?

This client wanted a shift arch with visible hair strokes that also was bold! We opted for a combination style which kept fluffier strokes at the front and a more defined look throughout the rest whilst also having visible hair strokes! ☁️

Something to bare in mind:

If like this client you want a darker brow, be aware that your skin may only allow you to go so dark before losing colour and having an unwanted result that may heal very grey/blue. Remember brows can always be darkened with a little bit of makeup but once it’s tattoo’d on, there is no going back unless you remove. I will always opt for a slightly more natural look to avoid a future un wanted result that will leave you un-happy✨

Having a brow tattoo does not have to mean, dark over done brows! I’d say that most clients have this fear before tattooing and actually it’s more popular within my clients that less is MORE. Remember when it comes to brow tattooing you can always add over time, but you can’t take away!

I so enjoyed creating this super natural and fluffy SPMU set, when working with red hair, it almost always requires personalisation of colour in order to create the perfect colour match- we swatched colours and made sure we had the perfect level of warmth to cool tones in order to give the brows the best shot at healing to the correct colour shade!

Originally we wanted only microblading but after seeing them we decided that a tiny bit of shading may actually help blend those strokes where we were missing hair in just that little bit more whilst still maintaining a fluffy and natural look!

I can’t wait to see these healed in 6 weeks time ready for a little touch up!

When working with first time clients I like to work lighter so that when we go through the healing process, and the brows go through the dark stage it isn’t so intense and scary, so that when we come back for a touch up we almost always want to go that little bit darker, but if not that’s okay too! ✨

Bringing old brows back to life ✨

Esme’s brows were 5 years old and in need of some correcting both in colour and un-even fading over time!

We colour corrected her brows and added in some fluffy hair-strokes at the front to add dimension, Esme wanted low maintenance that didn’t over power her face so we chose a combination style brow 🩷

Can you see how these subtle changes have made such a difference to the overall shape of the brow?!

The longest part of the brow tattooing process..

I get so many clients coming in worried about the pain and how long tattooing the brows is going to take (considering I book out 2.5 hours) WELL you will be pleased to know the part of the treatment that takes the longest is actually the mapping of the brows and colour selection, my clients know I like to be CLIENT LED with PROFESSIONAL INPUT meaning, I like to work WITH my client to design their brows. So for this reason, I don’t rush, we take our time and make sure they are perfect! The actual tattooing itself is the quickest part!

And ALSO.. we manage pain during treatment with numbing agents, I’m pleased to say the most common thing I hear is “oh.. was that it?!” 🤣🤍

What’s the difference between Microbladed hair-strokes and Machine hair-strokes?🤍

Microblading and machine hairstrokes are both techniques used in semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows. Microblading involves manually creating hair-like strokes with a handheld tool, while machine hairstrokes use a tattoo machine for a similar effect.

I tend to use a microblade for my hair-stroke style brows as I feel like it gives me more control and have always liked how crisp and thin the hair strokes come out! However not every skin type is a candidate for Microblading, ESPECIALLY OILY so I may sometimes opt to use the machine in those scenarios or opt for shading instead! 🤍
