Hello everyone!

We're currently underway with an exciting refurbishment. Soon to be revealed are a unique dining space in the Eaton room, a stunning outdoor space featuring a petanque court, a kids' playhouse, and a beautifully landscaped garden.

As many of you will have visited our other venues, The Boars & The Kings Head, we cannot wait to launch our full food menu. But first, we're giving the kitchen a makeover, so we aim to launch this towards the end of May.

In the meantime, we will serve the incredible Brick Pizzas and tapas bar snacks until the kitchen is fully open.

We will be open this Thursday (2nd May) from 4pm. We cannot wait to meet you all.

The end of an era.

A huge, huge thank you to every customer, diner, member of staff, post office user, supplier, the list goes on. The Cellar House wouldn’t have survived the last 11 years and still be what it is today without you. You made the pub what it is today and for that we will be forever grateful.

Many of our wonderful staff will be staying on so you can still expect to see them behind the bar and working hard. Some will be moving over to The Old Ram at Tivetshall with Victoria if you fancy popping by to say hello, they would love to see you.

Good morning and happy Thursday everyone.

As you’re all aware, we are changing hands in a matter of days and TOMORROW will be our last day of trading.

Our doors will lock at 10pm on Friday 26th under the reins of Victoria for the final time. So if you’d like to get down before hand, you have less than 36 hours to do so.

We are limited on certain drinks so please be kind and understanding to our staff.

We would love to see you all before the big change so make sure you get down!

Fantasic quiz tonight thanks to the amazing number of teams. A three way tie - who would have thought it!! Sadly however co-host Gareth Southgate has left the building. Last seen walking down Eaton Street with the ladies from Who Let the Mum's Out.......

A huge thank you to everyone to came by to say farewell to Victoria last night. It was a wonderful night and good to see so many of you! 🥰

We will be open from 11am this morning instead of 10am to give the team a chance to put the pub back together!

Also remember we aren’t serving Sunday lunch today or food next week. Our kitchen is now closed in preparation for the handover at the end of the month.

Following our previous post, tomorrow afternoon from 3pm - 8pm we will be joined by Gringos Nacho Factory who will be serving up Mexican street food 🤤🌯

So whether you’re after a late lunch, some dinner or to line your stomachs ready for our leaving party, Gringo’s will sort you out!

Today will be our last day serving food before the big handover at the end of the month. We will not be serving food from tomorrow and throughout next week.

This coming Saturday from 4 onwards, we’ll be doing our first pop up of the year in Eaton.

Not only will we be bringing our own made YDE 48hr proofed dough, we’re bringing the ingredients to make this little beauty - speck mushroom and onion and it’s quickly becoming a firm favourite!
Ohhh …and we’re cooking our fresh garlic dough balls and the always popular dessert pizzas. Eaton you’re in for a treat.
