Happy Easter! As with all these blocks this latest is my favourite…at least for now!
I’m tempted to now trial one with blue tones and an inset copper/peach. My aim is that this quilt will be entirely handmade.

It seems I’m not alone in loving these peachy hues 🧡

Pantones colour of the year 2024 is . It’s always tricky to determine whether creators start using the colour of the year or whether they pick up on trends already in motion. Now you know you’ll probably spot it emerging in interior design and clothing more and more.

Loving a bit of hand sewing by the fire as I continue this quilt 🧵🪡

These blocks have grown organically from a mix of peachy mustard and pink shades and the juxtaposition of a bluey green one in the middle. I’m excited now to get on to the next one.

Next block in my just because I fancied it quilt. My only rules are these peachy/mustardy autumnal tones with a bluey one in the middle. Dreamy!

The pumpkin is back on the wall today….changing it up before we go to the skull towards the end of the month!

Happy hand sewing on the hottest day of the year ☀️

I started these little blocks in the New Forest at the start of the holidays and continued in France and Switzerland. I love that I’ll remember where I sat and sewed and that becomes part of the magic of the quilt.

Wishing I was still in the sunshine!! I’m back processing orders today and will start cutting and posting tomorrow, thanks to everyone who ordered whilst I was away for your patience 🙌

These gentle tones are my jam at the moment…looking forward to a spot of hand sewing on holiday. I always take some and sew the smallest amount but if I didn’t I’d be hopping mad 🤣

What a pretty selection of florals to send out!! I’m so busy packing orders this afternoon but I take joy in everyone’s selections. I take so many pictures of orders and never end up sharing them 🙈 this was less than half of this customer’s order and I can’t wait to see the quilt that emerges!

This rosette is using fabrics from .domestic range ‘Catch and Release’ as I remember it, it’s a collection about their special family spots and the rituals of a holiday and shared time together. Today we re enacted a family ritual, going to see the rhododendron in bloom at Sheringham Park. Hope you’re enjoying this long weekend, I’ve spent hours reading in the sun this afternoon which has been an absolute TREAT!!
