Through the Lens workshops

Good evening

Since 2015, Dibs and Duncan have been running Through the Lens Workshops, covering a wide range of photography genres. Over the years, we’ve made countless friends and shared incredible experiences. We’ve had participants join us for workshops, with some going on to pursue careers in photography, while others have simply enjoyed learning more about a hobby they love. From mock weddings to exploring military bases more times than we can count, and hosting so many day and night photography sessions, we’ve lost track. We’ve travelled across the country with people who have become more than just attendees—they’ve become friends we’ll stay connected with for years to come.

However, the management of Through the Lens Workshops is going to change. As of April 2025, Through the Lens Workshops will be coming to a close as Duncan focuses on larger work projects and prepares for a triathlon.

That said, Dibs will continue to run his own workshops, which can be found on his website. We expect a smooth transition from Through the Lens Workshops to Dibs Photography for those of you looking to continue developing your photography skills.

For anyone who still has vouchers to redeem, we still have six workshops available on the website. If any of these do not take your fancy, remaining Through the Lens Workshop vouchers can also be used for Dibs’ workshops until the 1st of June 2025. To redeem these, please email Dibs directly.

This Thursday evening we have our photo walk at Cromer where we will finish down by the pier for sunset if anybody is interested in attending, there are still a few spaces left

We are thrilled to announce that tickets for the Tulips session are now available for purchase! Act fast, as the response has been overwhelming, and spots are filling up quickly.

During this exclusive session, we anticipate a breathtaking sunset backdrop. Additionally, we'll have two models on-site accompanied by professional lighting equipment. As an added treat, a circus performer will enchant us with a captivating fire show against the twilight sky. Following this, weather permitting, we'll engage in wire wool spinning and light painting with one of the models.

Woop woop, the private sunset-to-night shoot session is back for yet another year and we will have even more amazing things to photograph whilst raising money for two amazing charities.

Tickets with the details go on sale on Monday morning (8th April) on our website.

This year you will have free roam of the field once it gets shut off to the public, 2 models during daylight hours are gifting their time so a donation is welcome for them if you wish to shoot them.

Then covered in the ticket price we will have some fire performers juggling and spinning with fire as the sun goes down, and if that is not enough we will then have wire wool spinning and a short light painting session after the sun has fully set.

This weekend we have our 1st sea defences workshop of 2024.

The Norfolk sea defences workshop The Norfolk sea defences workshop is an opportunity for you to travel around the stunning Norfolk coastline photographing the varying sea defences

Back at the start of December, we had to cancel our Suffolk photography day due to yet another storm and yep, it was a lucky thing we did as the roads were flooded rather badly.
So the new date has been added to the website and there are a few spaces up for grabs.
So if you want to start the new year being out with the camera as much as possible, then get yourself booked in for a day full of photo adventures
