Team GB selects 36 athletes for the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games The British Olympic Association has selected 36 athletes to represent Team GB at the Gangwon 2024 Winter Youth Olympic Games (YOG) running between 19 January to 1 February 2024.

Barely 2 months ago, Niall Treacy broke two national records...and he's back at it! With an 8th place finish at the Short Track World Cup 3 in Beijing over the weekend, he also managed to shave more than a second off his previous national record-breaking 1000m time.

Massive congratulations to Niall and his team, and to Peter Riches, Theo Collins and Jonathan Moody, who rounded out the British Team in Beijing!

This weekend saw a successful European Championships for our British Short Track Performance Squad in Gdansk, Poland. Several members making their debut into senior international championships. Niall Treacy, Peter Riches, Holly Hoyland, Charlotte Hayward, Branden Marshall and Adam Hill Jr.
The British Short Track Performance Squad Men’s Relay team blasted through the heats into the B Final to finish 7th in the 5000m, Niall finished 9th in the 500m and multiple top 20’s for Peter & Holly. Well Done to SSPP athletes Niall Treacy, Branden Marshall, Adam Hill Jr & Holly Hoyland on their performance this weekend at the European Championships in Gdansk, Poland!

Charlotte unfortunately sustained an injury in training so was unable to start!

The Short Track European Championships take place in Gdansk, Poland on the 13 January – 15 January 2023.
