Meet our New Consultant 🩺

We are delighted to welcome Dr Kailash Krishnan!
Dr Kailash Krishnan is triple accredited with expertise in General Medicine, Geriatrics and Stroke Medicine. Dr Krishnan is the clinical lead for providing regional clinical services for Mechanical Thrombectomy and Patent Foramen Closure in cryptogenic stroke. He is the National Optimal Stroke Imaging Pathway (NOSIP) lead for the East Midlands.

Dr Kailash Krishnan specialises in:

✅Management of high blood pressure, cholesterol and anticoagulation
✅Investigations for limb weakness

Mr James undertakes a large number of hip and knee replacements each year at the Park Hospital and has developed a national and international reputation for revision and complex knee replacements.

In September 2010 and September 2018, Mr James was recognised by his peers as being amongst the UK’s top knee replacement surgeons in a survey conducted by the Daily Mail.

Meet our New Consultant! 😊

We are delighted to welcome Mr Jimmy Ng,
Consultant Trauma and Soft Tissue Knee Surgeon based at The Park Hospital.

Mr Ng offers simple arthroscopic procedures to complex ligament (often multiple ligaments) reconstructions and re-alignment (osteotomy) surgery.
He offers an individualised approach in ACL reconstruction surgery, tailoring his graft selection to individual patient needs. He also performs partial and total knee replacement surgery when joint preservation is no longer possible.

Clinical Interests Include:
✅ACL reconstruction graft options tailored to individual (hamstring, quads, patella tendon)
✅ ACL repair
✅Partial knee replacement
✅Total knee replacement
✅MPFL reconstruction

Andrew Longmead, one of our reporting ultrasonographers, has just completed the Marathon de Sables. This requires participants to run 253km across the Sahara desert carrying a backpack weighing around 12.5kg in temperatures up to as high as 58 degrees. He and his friend Lee successfully completed the gruelling challenge on Saturday.
