Wow, what busy and fun filled day! 🐸🐯🐶 We have loved celebrating world animal day with you all and seeing all of your amazing costumes! Here’s a few snapshots from our day 🐒🐷🦊

The pre-school children requested to do some biscuit decorating as a group this afternoon!
Here they are showing off their amazing fine motor skills to make their beautiful edible creations 🍪 🧁 🍬

Next Friday, the 4th October, we will dressing up as our favourite animals to celebrate World Animal Day! We can’t wait to see all your amazing animal outfits 🐶🐱🐼🐨🐷🐒🐣🐴🐞🦖🐠🦓🦘🦓

Toddlers have been busy today using spaghetti to paint their very own lions 🦁 they’ve also been practicing their “Roars” 🦁

As we begin a new term here at nursery we’d like to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who has gifted us over the summer with your generosity of cards, gifts and kind words which we will hold dear forever! We wish your little ones the best of luck as they begin their journey at big school and we are forever grateful that you chose us to be such a big part of your children’s early education 🥰 We’ll miss you all, but as always we have a lovely new group of children starting this term to keep us all super busy! -Lots of love from the whole staff team at RHN. 🏫👶🎨🦕🍎

From garden, to pan, to plate! 🌱 Sausage, mash, cabbage and home grown green beans for lunch today! Yum yum! Well done pre-school for growing your tasty vegetables 👏

Parent/Carer Reminder - Nursery will be closed bank holiday Monday (26th August) ☀️

All children have taken part in a smoothie making activity today with our cook Jacqueline🧑‍🍳 They chose which fruits they wanted to use and spoke about how to safely use knifes for cutting - then enjoyed their smoothie for snack-time 🍓🍌 🫐

Pre-School have been busy creating their own Olympic Rings and medals today 🏅they have also enjoyed discussions with staff about what events/sports take place at the olympics 🥇 🥈 🥉

Toddlers and babies had lots of fun in the sun this morning on their visit to the park ☀️🛝🌳

Children will be making flags, learning about the different countries of the world and taking part in their own football games 🥅🏆

Toddlers have been busy this morning with their number focus activity - this group have showed a big interest in mini beasts recently so they have created their own “Number Bugs” today! 🐞

Pre-School have been busy today focusing on their topic of “space” 🪐 🚀 - they created their very own flying saucers!🛸👽

Pre-school have had a fun day in the sunshine today☀️- using their team-work skills to build different tunnels and ramps for the dinosaurs and balls 🎾 🦕

Some of the pre-school children have been helping to tend to their growing patch today, they are very excited about seeing their seeds grow into different flowers and foods! 🍓 🥬 🧅 🌺 🌻 🌳
