Sophie Wells will be taking to the Paralympic stage for the fourth time in Paris, alongside her horse, Egebjerggards Samoa (Diana) 🐴

After her success in the London 2012 Games, Sophie wanted to make the sport she loves so much, accessible to all, and was instrumental in establishing Papplewick RDA in Nottinghamshire.

We can't wait to see Sophie competing in a few short weeks.

Huge thank you to one of our volunteers Libby who organised a sponsored litter pick with her friends and family and raised an impressive £400 for our charity. We are so grateful for all your hard work 👏

We all enjoyed some festive fun last weekend including Christmas songs, hot chocolate and mince pies and carrots for the ponies. Merry Christmas everyone and thank you for your continued support 🎅🏻🎄🎁⛄️

Activities for the children to keep everyone entertained as well as an inspirational talk from Emma Sheardown - TEDx / Motivational Speaker. We have limited seats but plenty of room so bring your deckchair if you can. All donations welcome to ensure we can continue to offer opportunities for all with disabilities within our community. Excited to announce an opportunity to meet the inspirational Emma Sheardown - TEDx / Motivational Speaker para World Champion and learn all about her journey at Papplewick RDA Saturday 24th June 10am to 1pm. No booking required.

Can you help? We are looking for another horse to join our team at Papplewick RDA. Having had to retired some older horses during the Covid lockdown we are looking for something approximately 15hh, Cob type, has to be completely safe and unfazed by any situation. A 5* home awaits. Lessons are only run a few times a week and are mainly walk and the occasional trot so in no way demanding. If you are looking to loan or have something that you are semi retiring please do get in touch. We have a long waiting list for RDA sessions and can currently only offer limited sessions without additional horse power.

These donations will help SO MUCH, so please sign up to support us – it’s completely FREE and doesn’t take long.

By way of an update, having been closed for a long period of time during Covid and having to retire a couple of horses during this period, we are currently only able to offer limited sessions. We have an extremely high demand and are working our way through a backlog whilst trying to find suitable horses to join the team.
