MacMillan coffee morning is just around the corner and as always we are taking part here at Bendigo ☺️

A little insight into what it’s about!

The first Coffee Morning happened in 1990. It was a small affair with a simple idea: guests would gather over coffee and donate the cost of their drink to Macmillan. It was so effective, we did it again the next year - only this time nationally.

Now Coffee Mornings come in all shapes and sizes. From small home gatherings to large corporate events; school fundraisers to a gathering with a local community group. They all have one thing in common - they raise vital funds to support the more than 3 million people in the UK living with cancer.

So come on down on the 27th September and help raise some money with delicious cakes 🍰🧁

However they did win a voucher for the lounge and a box of chocolates for the best team name of the night chosen by Joe our quiz master as his mum was in attendance and it was interesting news for him to learn this information tonight. 🧐😁
