This week we celebrated people who have given great service at The Dales. Pictured with our Minister, Amanda Linney (C) are Sarah Kneen (L), who served as a Brownie Leader for 20 years, and Linda Epton (R) has been Brown Owl for the 28th Nottingham Brownie Pack for an amazing 45 years. Janet Clarkson served as our Church Secretary for 20 years and will be a hard act to follow! All three have now stepped down from their roles, and The Dales is very grateful for the service they have given.
Our groups and organisations are keeping very busy! Our Brownies have an interesting term ahead of them, as have the BBGA! And don't forget the Drama Group's production of Grease next month. Our Art and Craft groups produce some fantastic work, and along with our Tuesday Fellowship they are great ways of socialising. Why not come along? There's always a warm welcome and a cuppa and a biscuit!
Thank you to everyone who came to our quiz night! Well done to The A Team for winning, to There Are Worse Things We Could Do for coming second, and The Grumpy Sod's Harem and Rod's Squad who came joint third. It was a very tight finish between all of the teams! Special thanks to Arran and James for being a great tech team, to Janet for organising, and to everyone who helped us raise almost £300! 😁
It's tonight! Join us at 7 pm for our fun Quiz Night! The first question is ..... will we see you there? Teams of up to six people, £3 per person. No need to have a full team, there will be space for everyone! There's a raffle and refreshments too. Hope you can join us!
We'll be live this morning from 10.30 for our service with Rev. Chris Ford

We’re going to live stream our Christmas Eve (evening) service to Facebook tonight. It’ll also be uploaded to YouTube later. Hopefully the stream attempt is better than last year’s attempt!
See you at 6.30 either online or in person!
Join us for our Christmas Eve Services. Linda Norwebb leads our morning worship at 10.30 am, and at 6.30 pm our Minister, Amanda Linney leads our "Carols by Candlelight".
The cakes are baked and the wine's mulling it over .... Will you be joining us for a Christmas sing-a-long? Whether you have the voice of an angel or can't hold a tune in a bucket we'll be glad to see you! There are carols, popular Christmas songs and quite a few laughs along the way. And of course, cake. And mulled wine (both alcohol-free and with alcohol) or tea and coffee if you'd prefer. Hope to see you this evening!
This Sunday our Minister, Amanda Linney leads our Christingle Service. Come along and join in the fun of making a Christingle and learn about its meaning.
As we had to cancel last week's service because of the snow, we will also receive gifts of toys this week for the Charity "Bags of Blessings" and bless them on their way.
Due to the thick snow we are cancelling this morning's service at The Dales. Stay safe and warm, everyone!
