Weekly classes of yoga, meditation, breathwork and functional movement.
Wednesday evenings are Yoga evenings. Drop in for an hour and a half of blissful, healing movement. A slow flow this evening to mobilise the body and cool down with a bit of Yin. The usual place. The usual time. πππΌ

We were so lucky this evening having the wonderful .armstrong_ leading the Yin section of the session. A series of beautiful heart opening poses left us feeling wonderfully relaxed and serene. Thank you Louise. It was truly beautiful. πππ«πππΈ

Our next Sunday morning workshop will be on Sunday 19th May, 10am till noon.
We begin with a gentle yoga flow which is designed to be nourishing and calming for the body, leading to the stillness and peace of a Yin practice. The combination of the two creates balance and harmony, so you leave feeling relaxed, rested yet vibrant and recharged.
Join us! This is suitable for everyone; any level, any age, any previous experience or no experience of yoga.
A comfortable and friendly environment. No stress. Just book on, turn up and we'll take care of the rest, so you leave feeling lighter, energised and fully nurtured. π

A reminder: no class this evening but Flow into Yin workshop is on this Sunday till noon.
Flow into Yin on Sunday 17th March is our first workshop of the year!!! We're so happy to get back into the flow and the start of Spring is a symbolic time of the year to relaunch the workshops. It's a chance for you to have a little moment of retreat on a Sunday morning and also get to know your yoga practice in some more depth. The workshops will include gentle flow and movement through phases until we rest and restore in the peace and stillness of Yin.
All levels are welcome and, if you are a beginner, this is a great place to begin to learn the fundamentals of yoga practice.

As most of our regulars know an Ebb n' Flow yoga class is 'Not just a Yoga Class'.
We focus on physical movement via Mobility, Strength and Conditioning, Yoga Asana, QI Gong, Martial Arts movements, Dance, you name it we like to move ππ
If you are interested in taking your yoga further we delve deeper into Pranayama, Yoga Nidra and Meditation ποΈ
All our classes are tailored to 'all abilities', from the complete beginner to the seasoned Yogi - we also find that having two of us overlooking the class, we can focus on people on an individual basis, alignment, technique, etc.
If are looking for a fun friendly class, want to start moving your body in a low impact way, sports injury prevention/rehabilitation, further your yogic journey or need to step out of the craziness of life and experience deep relaxation and a feeling of complete calm - come and check us out π

A Little Bit of Magic πππ
π«'Find a focus point. Stare at it until all else surrounding it blurs into insignificance. Hold this point of focus in stillness breathing gently. Then, SNAP! Drop the gaze, release the focus.' π«
Thank you for this technique π It can be done simply and easily. Requires no equipment or special space. A simple tool to whip out when you feel you are overwhelmed by a sea of difficult emotions.

Lot's of variety - mobility, core strength work, mind body connection, flow, Yin, breath work and relaxation.

5min Morning Hip Health routine.
* Kneel down sitting back on the heels to stretch the quads.
* Seated Windshield Wipers (internal and external rotation of the hips).
* Supported Yogic Squat, limbering from side to side - for support place hands on the floor Infront, hold onto a doorframe, window sill,etc) - stand and shake the legs.
* Standing Pelvic rotation (3 to 5 times both ways).
* Yogic Squat - place elbows on the inside of knees and apply gentle pressure outwards, deepening the stretch within the groin and hip area) - supported or not depending how you are feeling.
* Sit back into Butterfly.
* Kneel sitting back on the heels again, tuck the toes under and come into Forward Fold. Roll up into Tadasana/Mountain Pose - breath deep and with ease.

'Wake Me Up' routine.
Hey all following our discussion last night here's a quick 'straight out of bed' yoga routine to wake and energise the body first thing in the morning π: -
* Child pose (3/5 breath's)
* Cat/cow (5 rounds)
* Sit back in 'Broken Toes' (3 breath's)
* Slide into Sphinx and extend into Cobra (slowly now the body is waking up) π - 3/5 breath's.
* Rise into Down Dog and then walk the dog, wake up those lower limbs πΆ - 3/5 breath's.
* Walk the feet forward into Forward Fold/Rag Doll - 3/5 breath's.
* Rise up into Extended Tadasana (slight back bend if you like)
* Tadasana/Mountain Pose - breath deep, breath calmly, ground and find your peace and place on this beautiful planet π - 5/8 deep calming breath's.
