Andy Mills started A shaw thing ltd, a card and gift shop, 21 years ago as his wife wanted a change in career.

Andy has had a career working at Warburtons but has always helped and put his all into the shop.

Andy thrives on community spirit in Shaw and says that it’s so important to have excellent customer service.

We have a very special customer who doesn’t get in to see us often. Today he really pushed himself out of his comfort zone and came in for a meal & it was so lovely to see him.
He insisted on leaving a generous tip which made our day & we put it in our food bank collection tub so that his kindness can make someone else smile too.
