Congratulations to Micheal Sally, one of the Higher Level Apprenticeship students at Fox Contracts who recently won an ICE Quest Technician Scholarship.

𝗙𝗼𝘅 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗰𝘂𝘀: 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

Fox Contracts recently completed the Martin Junction Scheme in Galway City. The upgrade involved converting the existing Martin Roundabout to a 4-arm signal-controlled junction, with the provision of cycle lanes, footpaths, bus priority measures and associated landscaping.

Our dedicated team worked collaboratively with Galway City Council and designers from AECOM to deliver this strategic infrastructure project, which provides significant improvements for pedestrians, cyclists and public transport.

We are delighted our team working on Banbridge Public Realm project have successfully achieved an impressive score of 44/45 from their recent second audit visit by the Considerate Constructors Scheme (CCS) earning an 'Excellent' rating.

Last week we had the pleasure of attending Omagh High School’s “You’re Hired” Interview Skills event for Year 12. We’d like to congratulate the students involved and their teachers for their outstanding preparation for this vital life skills event.

National Apprenticeship Week 2024

As National Apprenticeship Week 2024 draws to a close, we caught up with our Apprentice Clodagh Kelly. Clodagh is currently in second year studying the Ulster University Foundation Degree in Construction Engineering with Surveying at South West College Omagh Campus. We asked how work-based learning has benefitted Clodagh as she kick starts her career with Fox Contracts, here’s what she had to say…

Congratulations to Fionn McKenna, apprentice Engineer at Fox Contracts on being selected to attend the prestigious Humber College, in Toronto, Canada to study High Performance Building Design in July 2023.
This is a fully funded course run by the Turing Scheme through South West College and Fionn was 1 of 8 students selected from the hundreds who applied. This will enable Fionn to gain a global perspective on how high-performance building design and construction principles are contributing to a more sustainable and efficient built environment and also an opportunity to make new friends, experience another culture and discover new ways of looking at his subject.
