Its good to remember that your worth is NOT measured by a grade, its only a mark on a piece of paper at the end of the day.
I left school with 3 GCSEs and I’m not doing so bad!
So regardless of what grades you received.
A huge big Congratulations to everyone who studied, worked damn hard and had the guts to sit their exams in the first place.
Well done to you!
Be kind and allow yourself to acknowledge your hard graft and achievements.
Have faith that the right path will present itself for you even if it may not be the one that was planned.
Sometimes the road we dont expect can be the best one. And let me tell you the bends in the road of life can be our very best teachers!
It’s inevitable that life will throw out a few curveballs along the way, but it’s up to you what you do about them.

Theres absolutely no harm in allowing yourself to treat “you” with the love , respect and kindness that you bestow onto others...is there?
Daily Affirmation:
“I allow myself to be loved, I accept myself, I love myself”
Say this out loud as often as you can daily and mean it when you say it, even watch yourself saying it.
Sounds a little “ out there” but positive affirmations truly work!
Theres no ego attached here, just a strategy to support a positive mindset and attitude.
Try it for a week and see how you feel 🙂 you might just be surprised at the results!

✍️What is: Counselling / Integrative CBT:
~ Counselling is a talking therapy that involves a trained therapist listening to you and helping you find ways to deal with emotional issues.
Sometimes the term "counselling" is used to refer to talking therapies in general, but counselling is also a type of therapy in its own right.
~ What can counselling help with?
🌻Counselling can help you cope with:
a mental health condition, such as depression, anxiety or disorder
an upsetting physical health condition, such as infertility
a difficult life event, such as a bereavement, a relationship breakdown or work-related stress
difficult emotions – for example, low self-esteem or anger
other issues, such as sexual identity
and lots more (this list is not conclusive)
~ What to expect from counselling:
At your appointment, you'll be encouraged to talk about your feelings and emotions with a trained therapist, who'll listen and support you without judging or criticising.
The therapist can help you gain a better understanding of your feelings and thought processes, and find your own solutions to problems. But they do not 'fix you’ and will not usually give advice or tell you what to do.
You may be offered a single session of counselling, a short course of sessions over a few weeks or months, or a longer course that lasts for several months or years.
It can be challenging and take a number of sessions before you start to see progress, but you should gradually start to feel better with the help and support of your therapist.
🌻Integrative Cognitive behavioural therapy:
~ CBT is a type of talking therapy. Integrative CBT offers a safe space for you to be heard and explore your issues in. It empowers you to 'help yourself' and teaches you coping skills for dealing with different problems. It focuses on how your thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect your feelings and actions.
🌻Couples counselling or Together therapy :
~Relationship counselling can help improve the way you relate to those around you and allow you to break free from old patterns of behaviour. Counsellors can provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment to help you identify issues or problems in a relationship and find a way through those difficulties.
🌻An integrative counsellor believes there isn't just one therapeutic approach that can help a client in all situations. Instead, they take into account you as an individual and your circumstances, and use elements of different approaches to help you explore and cope with your problems*
💥Note well:
Counselling/ integrative CBT does not aim to solve problems in a single session. Many people go into counselling, hoping to be cured, not realizing it is more like hiring a personal trainer than a plastic surgeon. A counselor can support the process of change, but cannot make the changes for you.

~ Another step in my healing journey complete ✔️
Surgery went well today for my initial issue and I’m delighted to say it’s healing well and may’ only need one more operation. Another wee issue has highlighted unfortunately so I have an adjoining path to travel but I have great faith that it will work out for the best. Im trying to draw on Logical Lorraine instead of Positive Penny at this time as the right footwear for the path is necessary, but I’m keeping the faith as I’m a great walker so I know I’ll complete the trek! 😁💪🩷🌻x

Its hard to believe that today marks My 27th year in business!!!! 🎉
One To One Well-Being Holistics and Counselling is 27 years old today! Wow and double Wow! Unbelievable! Where has that time went?
So surreal and not one moment of regret!
It seems a lifetime ago that I started ‘One to One Beauty’ from my back bedroom in Woodside Terrace Omagh and performed my first waxing treatment from a baby bottle warmer which I bought in a charity shop for 10p! Lol!
Im feeling very blessed and grateful and want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for your continued loyal, kind, generous ongoing support and friendship throughout the years.
It’s you who makes my business what it is.
Its you that has directed One to One Beauty to evolve into One To One Well-Being Holistics and Counselling. It’s you that has supported it to become the renowned and distinguished mental health support practice it is now well known and appreciated for. Its you that has encouraged and enabled it to keep growing from strength to strength!
