Many children report psychotic experiences (17% in 8-12 years and 8% in adolescents), which are often transient in normative development. Stay calm, encourage your children to talk about it, listen actively and provide support.

Anxiety is the most common mental health problem among children.

Offspring of parents with bipolar disorder are more likely to have childhood anxiety problems than offspring of parents without a mood disorder.
