Thank you to everyone for coming to the Cuppers Awards- we were very pleased to have such a fab turnout.

CUPPERS TEAMS!!

A reminder that the props store will be open this week:
Tuesday 2-3pm
Wednesday 2-3pm
Thursday 2-3pm

For Cuppers, we do not charge for props, but will ask for a deposit to cover them. Props must remain in the props store this week, but we will take them to the BT ready for your technical sessions.

TAFF | Hires TAFF have a variety of props and equipment available to hire to student productions in Oxford.

Come join us in the top floor of Starbucks for a wee cuppa(er) and chat! If you missed the meeting on Wednesday this is a particularly good chance to ask any questions you have. We’re here until 4!

Just to remind all the Cuppers teams that there is a mandatory production meeting at 2pm today at the Burton Taylor that at least one member of your team must attend. This is followed by a tech workshop at around 2.45 in the BT which will be really useful in establishing the overall design you want to achieve for your piece in the space you have to perform. It would be great to see as many of you there as possible !

This is a reminder that if you have a college group who wants to participate in Cuppers you have until 4pm this Monday (28th) to hand in your entry form and fees. If you have handed in your form but not the entry fee you also have until this time to post it to the BT or transfer to OUDS.

GET INCREDIBLY HYPED BECAUSE IT'S CUPPERS TIME!!!!

Cuppers is an annual competition run by the Oxford University Dramatic Society, where every college is invited to put on a 30 minute play whose cast, crew and creative team is made up entirely of first year students (both undergraduate and postgraduate).

Performances will take place in 5th Week of Michaelmas at the BT Studio (a 50-seater, black box theatre), and the deadline for entry is Friday of 2nd Week.

So grab your friends, grab your enemies, pick (or write) your script and start rehearsing!
