I carried out 7 standard service’s today in Headington for one lovely customer. All completed in the morning. Various parts changed, all bikes now in full working order. The customer was very happy and they didn’t need to leave the comfort of their own home.

Bosch electric bike in for new drive including changing the front motor sprocket, cassette and chain!
Electric bikes have a tendency of wearing out sprockets and chains quicker than normal bikes because of the torque put out by the motor.
If you want to ensure good gear change it’s worth getting the drive checked for excessive wear!

Canyon ultegra disc road bike

Customer commented that the gear change was poor and wanted me to check and see if it was due to the chain/cassette being worn!

Sure enough the chain checker confirmed that the chain was 75% worn.

Full service with new cassette and chain fitted and bike is running very nicely again 👍

New build of this colnago road bike for a customer today, ultegra 11 speed hydraulic disc group-set, tricky internal cables. 4 1/2 hours start to finish, should have a very happy young cyclist tomorrow!

Complete strip down and rebuild of this carbon planet X. Old worn out sram removed and replaced with the latest tiagra 10 speed group set. New wheel bearings and new bar tape.

Impossible to get to a shop unless you have a large van and even then it won’t fit through the front door!! I carried out the work on site and in under 30 mins. New tyre and tube fitted. Another happy customer 😀

I've cycled on my own half way across Europe on my lovely Giant Bicycles E bike carrying dear downs syndrome brother Martin's memory.

Last night, as I chatted with friends in my local pub, it was taken, securely locked, from the car park.

Halfway around Europe to raise awareness of reaching out potential, and then in my local...

I'm heartbroken.
