Today we’re sharing these beautiful shots from G&C’s wedding with us last Autumn. The ceremony took place in Holy Trinity Chuch, Ardington and friends of the happy couple played saxophone and piano throughout welcome drinks before dinner in the lakeside marquee.

Each winter we winterise the Marquee, the whole space comes down for a good revamp ready for the new season ahead 🙌.

The wonderful Gavin at looks after our annual maintenance programme and works have already began! For those having their wedding with us this year looking to have a site visit, it’ll be reinstated and ready to come and have another look around in April.

This beautiful wedding was captured by
in May. It was an island ceremony under a canopy provided by , our lovely white blossom tree was in full bloom for the big day. After dinner, provided a mini dessert station (see image) with a selection of five favourites to accompany tea and coffee.

J&S really settled into the House staying over for the whole weekend spending lots of time in our large outdoor swimming pool.

The happy couple said -

“I would like to thank you so much for the absolute best and happiest weekend.  We simply couldn’t have asked for better.
Everything was so thoughtful and perfectly organised.  Giuliano and Corina are just brilliant.  They don’t miss a thing, but are so understated and made it feel like it was our home, but at the same time always there when we needed them.”

The couples furry family member is always welcome to join the celebrations at Ardington. 🐕 We provide bowls and a large comfortable dog bed in the house kitchen for them to retreat into when it is time for dinner.

Meet Jess from 🍰
Jessica was with us twice during the 2023 season and delivered unforgettable cakes on both occasions. She offers beautiful bespoke cakes for your big day with a range of flavours. Living locally, delivery and set up is offered and the cakes are typically coated in ganache which work well for marquees.

Have a look a this beautiful cake made for O&J this year, with white chocolate ganache and edible wildflowers it was stunning… and delicious. 😋

This wonderful wedding was captured by
in August. They had an island ceremony on this glorious day and their lovely little dachshunds even walked down the aisle!

A guitarist played the bride down the aisle and then our recommended musicians at played a jazz trio during the drink’s reception and also provided a party band for the evening dancefloor.

This week we’re enjoying these stunning photographs captured by of one of our June weddings this year. The ceremony took place in Oxford City before heading back to the House for the drinks reception and canapés such as seared sirloin of beef sticks with mustard bernaise sauce, marinated prawn lolli pops with sesame, chive and roasted and garlic dip and many more.

This beautiful wedding was held with us in June and we have to note what an amazingly organised bride J was! Every little detail had been carefully considered and communicated wonderfully.
