'Renew' is showing at our workshop off Cowley Road, and launches with a special open day as part of this Saturday, 14 September, 12-5pm.

On our walls are 41 framed prints, including linocut, etching, and woodcut techniques. Many more unframed original prints are also for sale as are greeting cards.

Many of the prints are inspired directly by the artists' recent visit to explore the community-owned wind turbines, solar park, and wildlife at the Westmill site near Faringdon. Our co-operative recently received grant funding from Westmill Sustainable Energy Trust to install energy-saving fans in the workshop, which is housed in the old Christadelphian church hall on Tyndale Road.

Other members have taken their inspiration from further afield, including Scotland and Cornwall, covering subjects as diverse as storks on the Knepp estate to the imminent closure of Ratcliffe-on-Soar coal power station.

After our special Open Day the exhibition will remain open to the public during our regular opening hours until Tuesday, 12 November.
