Wow, what a start to the year!

It has been a very busy January! I have been pretty poor in getting interesting pictures as I have been so busy.

We have had a great variety of jobs in for new and existing customers. Engine replacement, diagnostics, wiring repairs, metal brake pipes, subframe replacement, blower fan replacement, water leaks, oil leaks, starter motors, services, brakes and suspension work.

A little job from this morning,

I had a visit from this stunning 640d

The reverse camera, which is fitted behind the BMW emblem on the boot, had stopped working. The camera motor was no longer pushing the emblem out so the I drive screen was just showing the inside of the badge when in reverse.

The customer sourced a good used part and I had it working again in no time.

More exciting news on the way

Another from last week, I didn't take many pictures of this one.

Josh's 2016 Ford Focus ST collected from Exmouth and kept for a few days whilst he was away.

Full service and MOT carried out. Also gave my advice on an on-going engine warning light issue that another garage has been dealing with.

During the service I noted the front brake pads were low, so with his authority I replaced the worn out pads with some new Brembo pads.

Delivered back the day before he returned from holiday so it was good to go as soon as he was back.

A tidy 116d in for service last week.

Collected and delivered from the customers home.

The customer, as always, was given the option of genuine or quality aftermarket parts. Nothing cheap and cheerful fitted here. For this one we opted for genuine BMW filters and Shell oil meeting BMW standards.

Another late finish last night

I've been looking after Andy's T4 over the last couple of weeks. He recently purchased it and bought it to me to have a look over.

Having done nearly 300,000 miles it was no surprise I found a few bits that needed attention.

So far I have carried out a full service. Front brake pads and discs replacement. Engine mount replacement. Replaced a blowing exhaust section. Treated and undersealed the length of the van and replaced the leaking oil filter cooler seal.

There are still a few bits on the list to tackle but his van is really coming together. With the prices of these vans on the increase. It's definitely a worthy investment.

Lovely Mini Cooper S R56 with me recently for a big service.

I have been looking after this one for a while, as well as the owners previous Mini.

Previous work on this one include, routine maintenance and MOT. Coolant leaks and light faults as well as diagnostic work.
