Apologies for any unanswered emails and messages over the last week, we’ve been away to Dorset for a few days fossil hunting.

I’ve come home to an insane amount of orders, dozens of unanswered emails and 1000’s of animals to feed.

Due to the exceptional high volume of orders this week I will be packing and shipping all the way up to Thursday and attempting to catch up with all the messages. Apologies for any inconveniences but god damn I needed that weekend away!

Dolichothele diamantinensis also known as the Brazilian blue dwarf beauty tarantula, chomping on a waxworm.

Just finished updating the website with a few new bits and pieces, lots of new marcgravias and a few other oddities, some new inverts and an awesome little acrylic enclosure that’s perfect for jumping spiders, mantids and arboreal spiders.

Still got a load more to go up but that’s for another day 😜

Apologies for my lack of presence on social media recently, I’ve been working very hard on some things behind the scenes.

Today I got the keys to our new unit and to say that I am super pleased would be the understatement of the century!

It’s going to take a lot of work to get this how I want it but I have big plans for this unit, eventually culminating in a physical shop! Watch this space!

Found this beautiful Sonerila Cantonensis in flower today whilst sorting through the plants, what a beauty!

I’m finally back from the spring show and what a week it was! I’ve got lots of sorting out and animals to feed today and am aiming to get the website restocked and open for tommorow evening.

I was a little apprehensive about bringing bugs along to a plant show but the response we received absolutely blew me away. It was so nice to be able to show people how big a function invertebrates play in the ecosystem, and how we can apply this in terrariums.

The vibe in the houseplant festival was fantastic, so many like minded people under one roof, how could you not make some new friends!

Big shout outs to everyone new and old we had the pleasure of meeting, but the biggest shout out has to go to my main man Charlie over without whom I wouldn’t be able to do these shows. Thanks for taking the time off of work to come along and help me run the table drink and beers in the evening.

This is the largest show I have ever attended and to say I’m nervous would be an understatement!

But alas I’m really looking forward to showcasing our hobby by bringing along some awesome terrarium inhabitants, rare terrarium plants and supplies along some interesting displays!

At 8am Tuesday 30th I will be closing the store for 2 weeks whilst I prep the stock and attend the RHS Malvern Spring show.

Unfortunately I am unable to trade at the capital invertebrate show on Sunday 28th due to unforeseen circumstance. I know many of you were hoping to pick up some isopods from me and I’m really sorry to disappoint.
