You don’t have to be vegan to attend (we are a friendly and welcoming bunch), just bring your favourite vegan food to share. Whether it’s a couple of vegan snacks or a home made meal - it’s all welcome… And together we feast! (Gluten free (and vegan) is even better as some of us have an allergy)!

There are a few new things to keep in mind:
- We will be more like an indoor picnic now, so please bring your own plates/utensils/cup/mug etc for personal use, as the washing up space at is limited (but some items can be provided if you do forget).

- Our gatherings are still free as always, but please do consider a small donation to help with the venue’s overheads and future ideas. It all helps!
- The Westgate arcade toilets are for staff only, so please remember to use the loo before you come!
-Free parking in the evening can be found within walking distance. Thinking Park Road next to the department store..?
- The main food sharing part of the event will be upstairs so even though downstairs is fully accessible, the event may not be able to fully cater to individuals with mobility restrictions.

- And of course, all food brought must be completely vegan, for those newbies that means please no animal products, dairy, eggs or honey.

This ancient strain cacao, is sourced from farmer’s co-operatives in the Peruvian Andes.

As part of their mission, Rooted in Harmony is working with co-operatives and family-run businesses, supporting indigenous entrepreneurship in acquiring their .

“The intention of working with small farms to preserve traditional methods of cultivating, processing and harvesting cacao is very important to us.”

“Our cacao is grown on small, family owned plots of land as part of a diverse forest ecosystem.”

The families who grow our cacao are able to live entirely from their forests in the Junin Province in the Central Highlands of Peru.

These farmers belong to the first all indigenous cooperative to be founded in Peru, that became the template that future organisations used in creating their own businesses.

This ceremonial grade cacao is deep, grounding and heart opening. It is well suited for , and stillness in nature. It’s easy to prepare and melts beautifully into a sensuously smooth elixir.

Holy Wow Cacao is one of our absolute favourites. It’s fairly traded, wild harvested & organic, honouring permaculture principles & in many cases, agro-forest reforestation efforts. Working with & learning from the land stewards, the families & women’s collective on the land. We are so honoured to be in this special partnership & connected to source.

We gratefully get to directly see & learn - how ceremonial cacao is respected, connected with, grown, cultivated & sent over to us. (If you’d like to enjoy a group zoom call & online ceremony with us and Mateo in the next couple of months, let us know).
