I went to the Newark Theatre last month to watch The Shires acoustic tour. I love live music but don’t get to many concerts. What was your favourite concert you’ve ever been to?

This month has been really busy! We had a great start to the month. We attended the Xero awards and won Small Firm of The Year!

I spoke at Accountex for the first time and on a number of occasions too, it was a great experience.

We started helping a new client with their Accounts Payable and competed in the County Championships.

I've loved working with the Apron team over the last year and the next exciting step is Capture. This means they've got end to end payments, from getting the invoice into your software right through to paying the supplier. It's really simple & great for businesses of all sizes.

This morning I'll be talking with the ICB about how I use different software within my bookkeeping practice to run an efficient operation. As well as general accounting software, I will review practice & project management, receipt capture, proposal management and payment tools.

It’s been a pleasure to work alongside the ApprovalMax team over the last couple of months. They’re up for 2 Xero awards over the next couple of weeks - which is definitely deserved. I’ll be keeping everything crossed for them on the 18th for the South African awards and then looking forward to hopefully celebrating with them on 1st May at the U.K. awards. In the meantime, I’m just about to onboard a client to them who needs a better way to manage purchase orders.
