The Stoneworks

For this month's tap takeover, we are bringing in 2 breweries that are fairly new to us. We are constantly on the lookout for (new to us) breweries to keep things fresh and interesting, but it is not often that we are able to find two that have a portfolio diverse enough for a TTO...Enter Two Flints and Missing Link. These two breweries might not frequent our taps, but we are extremely proud to be able to show them off.

Two Flints has been around for only 2 short years, but in those years they have made quite a name for themselves. Their goal is to make high quality modern beer with a focus on hop forward pales/IPAs, and boy do they deliver. Every beer they make is meticulously designed and brewed on a state of the art kit enabling them to deliver up a product exactly how it is conceptualised. Expect these beers to be big, bold, and delicious!

Missing Link brewery is completely new to us but have been going quite a while now. Located in the Sussex countryside, they've mostly kept things local up until now. They are environmentally focused when it comes to the brewing process so they use solar assist for electrics, local wood chips for heating their boiler, they compost their hops and yeast to make natural fertiliser, and even use a reed bed to filter their liquid waste. All of that is incredible, but what makes it even better is the beers they are producing are fantastic as well. They run the gamut on styles, with each and every one of them delivering on what it promises.

To top all of this off, we are so excited to welcome to Peterborough for the first time Steaks are High, they will be pitched up outside the front of the bar serving up steak subs that are to die for!

This month's TTO is a very special one as its more than just a tap takeover. We've invited two breweries that are celebrating special events themselves, and they have chosen to kick off these events with us!

are a fantastic brewery who manage to nail everything they make. The attention to detail coupled with the dedication to styles make them a formidable brewery. For this TTO they are celebrating being a Farmhouse brewery bringing with them a smattering of Belgian session styled beers along with some very special sours. For the lager and pale fans, don't worry, they've got you covered too.

is celebrating 8 years of brewing and they are kicking off the celebration with us! West coast styled beers will definitely be on, but so will pales, black IPAs, and more. They'll also be sending a couple of very special beers that haven't been seen out in the wild before.

This is going to be one very special TTO. Certainly one to come out for! So we welcome you to join us on May 24th as Duration brewery and Elusive Brewery take over the taps!

This past weekend we soft launched our summer margarita menu to an absolutely amazing response from everyone who drank us dry! This summer is going to be a big one with The Stoneworks keeping you well and truly (and citrus-ey) lubricated! Which one was your favourite?

The Stoneworks has always had a close connection with Texas, not only is it the home of one of the owners but it's also one of the great beer locations in the world. Steve hasn't been home for a while, so what's the next best thing? We bring home here. Whilst we couldn't bring the entire state, what we can bring is some of the best beer it has to offer, carefully selected, hand picked and cold shipped. So not only is this super special event quite close to our hearts, but it's also bringing across kegs that will quite literally be the only ones in the country. POURING NOW: This 10th birthday celebration beer from really is something to behold. Pouring bright green, with notes of custard, biscuit and marshmallow, all pulled together with a silky mouth feel! This one really is something special! Get it before it's gone!

In just under two short weeks, we bring you our opening Tap Takeover for 2024 and we are super excited about our brewery picks, and we are kicking it off with a bang, bringing back fan favourite food from last year... Pigcasso's!

Gravity Well has been around for some time, but we have only just discovered them and we are so happy that we did. Every beer that we have had from them are absolutely on point, but their hazy beers steal the show. Indie Rabble are relatively new to the brewing scene but they immediately established themselves as one to watch. Every style that they put their hand to, they nail...and they brew a lot of styles!

This Tap Takeover is going to be one for the ages and we know you aren't going to want to miss it. So make sure that you put down in your diaries that on March 29th , Gravity Well and Indie Rabble will be taking over the taps and The Pigcasso Crew will be outside cooking up a storm!

On Thursday 29th 2024 we will be joining a handful of bars that will be pouring Irish Whisky Barrel-Aged Imperial Brown Stout! Great way to see in our new refurbishment! See you at the bar.

Folks! We’ve got some news, As some of you may or may not be aware we are refurbing the bar giving us a fresh start for 2024! Obviously these things take a bit of time so we will be closed this week and reopening on the 28th of February! We can’t wait for you guys to see what we’ve done with the place 🎨

This Saturday we have a little something special going on with our friends at Basqueland Brewing! See you all there!

Guys! For this month we’ve decided to adjust our opening times so that we are closed on Mondays. We will be back to our regular opening times in December!

On Friday October 27th, we are doing something a bit special. Instead of our traditional one or two breweries, we've decided to pit large land masses against each other...that's right, we are going for round 2 of: Europe vs USA.
We have chosen a number of breweries from each place, each with 2 beers, to show off their brewing prowess. The list is absolutely stellar with many of the beers being one of only a handful in the country. This is going to be one special tap takeover, and one you aren't going to want to miss!

Folks it’s that time of year again.. Negroni week! We thought we start with some appreciation for the classic negroni, If you guys remember how we were last year keep your eyes peeled on our stories for some of the twists we’ll be pushing out this weekend 😉
