If you paused at the targeted masses message, whether aimed at any class, age or diversity, each page of a magazine or a television advert, one is assaulted page after page, advert after advert, with an insidious, unnoted message or reminder that you are not good enough....that you are getting old, that you are too fat, too thin, too anything or not enough of anything.
Pause.......and go beyond the masses.
Your intuition is strong....trust it.
Listen to your soul.
The habits you have now are forming your future self, your physical wellbeing and your health.
The path you are walking, is leading to a destination.
Changing habits, changing course, are both possible.

I am fanatical about weight lifting. It saved my life. I now realise it also prevented osteoporosis and muscle deficiency in my body.
Tentatively self disclosing...I had a total hysterectomy and partial oophorectomy when I was 30, and never had any post op support, nor, until very recently could I access HRT....thank goodness I did lift as it would have stimulated and protected my bone density and regulated the low oestrogen I had left.
Ladies, and gents, weight lifting and resistance training stimulates all of our feel good hormones.
Accept, commit, set a goal, start.........
Wellbeing matters to me.
In a world that pathologises many of our natural human states I found that, naturally, movement, exercise and reconnecting with ourselves can improve and eradicate many of conditions and illnesses layered upon us.
Our physical and emotional wellbeing requires movement.
Movement regulates energy, energy regulates tears, laughter regulates. Anger regulates.
Emotion is often medicalised. It needs to be felt, it needs to moved, it needs to be regulated.
There's a space in between holding on and letting go....taking a leap of faith. That's the hardest part.
As a personal trainer and person I will meet you where you are and support you to where you'd like to be....😊
With a wealth of lived experience in never training in a gym until I was 38....to then competing at British level...to then finding a place of peace in my body from those experiences, having had to make a lot of changes in myself.
Today I focus on my wellbeing and how exercise enhances my physical and emotional soul.
I can offer individual training sessions, pair up with a friend to lower costs, or you can choose to train in small groups of 4-6, which I name physical and social training.......there's alot of laughter, as well as phys ( not fizz!)
I work in a holistic way.
A moment to reflect...love the skin you're in.
At the end of every work out I whisper back to my body "thank you". For every moment I can move, have my physical health and appreciate the joy that brings me, I'm happy.
