The 1st or the two foster and days coming in for Subaru conversion. This foster and day was originally owned by us and fitted with a 2.0 GTI. Roll on 8 years and the new owner wants more go!!! So now the 2.5 Subaru engine has been fitted, along with a tins custom stainless steel exhaust.

A recent GTI conversion that had just gone out and made its first drive straight to DATC.
The GTI has been fitted with a custom Tins stainless steel exhaust, all carried out in the Tins workshop.

Marks Sycro has recently been in for a few bits of work, central locking, replacement sump, and general maintenance, but more importantly taking it from a high top to a pop top with a full length front runner roof rack!
Firstly the high top needed removing and then the usual rust repairs carried out.
Then fitting of the Space Roofs T25 Westy style roof.
Looks perfect.

Ziggy the 1985 T25 camper RHD
Started life as a Devon but now has a one off RHD westy style interior with a Devon side elevating pop top with a brand new canvas.
Completely new interior including upholstery, a Tins rock n roll bed with 3 point seat belts.
2 way penguin virtifrigo fridge, with brand new liesure battery, 240v hook up,100w solar panel, usb charging points. Westy cooktop and sink.
1.9dg motor with a strong 4 speed box, stainless steel back box. Runs like a dream.
Body work was new panels and a bare metal repaint 5 years ago. Pics available of the restoration.
Will come with a fresh mot as I have no worries about that. Current mot until august.

This bus needs nothing other than new owner to use it and appreciate it.

When the van needs to sit low there’s no option but to tub the suspension for the top arms. This is all custom made in the tins workshop.

Custom made front and rear bumpers. We will be looking to putting these into fabrication for sale in the very near future. Watch this space…….

The gronk is on the road but still going through some finishing touches. Check out the treasure chest storage , which is on both sides. Interior pics to follow soon

We have finally got around to making a solid surface curved, center console drinks holder for the Tins Restoration and Kustoms front bench seat. It’s the accessory we’ve all been waiting for!! It’s made in a solid surface so can be used in the van while driving, using the bench as a rear facing seat or outside the van . We think it pretty awesome. 🤩

Recently Ziggy our blue and white T25 campervan got a interior fitted. The interior is based on a westy layout, but for a right hand drive van instead. The interior has worked really well and has been getting some really good fed back from all that have seen it when visiting the workshop. Will be looking forward to seeing it in use this year.

Now GTI’s, the other engine set up for a T25 van against the Subaru. A easy change engine for a diesel van, and cheaper than other alternatives if you’ve already got a diesel set up.
