The Babies at our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth have been exceptional explorers!
They used the sensory room and light up pebbles to create a lovely 'under the sea' theme. The children explored lots of new language while looking at the themed books and singing different nursery rhymes. They even got chance to explore the water tray for different sea animals, while counting how many they could find.

It’s that sad time of year again when we get ready to say goodbye to our amazing Preschoolers.
Wow what Proud performers the school leavers from our Fort View Nursery in Plymouth were. They took to the stage to put on a great show for their parents and other family members. They all sang their hearts out and boogied like no one was watching.
We couldn’t be anymore proud of them all! We will all miss them so much, but we send them on their way ready for their next chapter.

Starting September 2024, Mama Bear's Day Nursery have funded childcare places available for eligible families! Now is the time to balance the job you want while saving on your family’s childcare costs. Here's what you need to know:

If you haven’t already, remember to provide us with your childcare code in time for your child to benefit from a funded place.

🔹 When and How to Apply:
Apply 𝗻𝗼𝘄 if you’re an eligible working parent with children aged 9 months – 2 years (by 31st August) or 3-4 years old for the Extended Entitlement. Applications are open, and you can start benefiting from 1st September 2024!

🔹 Renew Your Code:
Remember, childcare codes need to be renewed every three months. Ensure you renew your code before 1st September if you applied before 1st June.

🔹 How to Apply:
Apply online at https://www.gov.uk/apply-free-childcare once you’ve checked the eligibility criteria.

🔹 What You Need:
- National Insurance number (or unique taxpayer reference if self-employed)

The children at our Fortview Nursery in Plymouth have been busy this week learning all about how to keep themselves safe in the sun now as we have received our sun safety accreditation.
We talked about why it is so important to wear suncream and what we need to do to help keep ourselves safe if the UV levels are high.

In celebration of Plymouth’s pirate weekend, the Preschool children at our Fort View nursery have been exceptional explorers and celebrated with our own pirate day. We dressed up, had a party tea, made our own treasure maps and even dived in to some under the sea jelly! We have had such a lovely day 😊
