An amazing day out on Tuesday with yr1 Photo & Art & Design to MT Edgcumbe. After a boat ride over in the sun, we were given a talk from David the estate business manager about the history of MT Edgcumbe, Fox Talbots early photographic works there and Henry Winstanleys creation of the first Eddystone Lighthouse.

A great day trip to the NEC yesterday for the Photography and Video show 2024, even if it was quite rushed. So great to see Yr1 students Fin Mcdonald and Paige Cunninghams shortlisted images printed up for the emerging artists competition and exhibition in association with Canon, well done guys!

Please join us this Weds for the annual Design to Sell event from 5pm - 7pm or on Thursday from 10am - 3pm, where the students will be selling a range of craft items, prints and other small gifts. There will also be a pop-up photo studio offering affordable family portraits on Wednesday evening.

A really good afternoon spent at the Aquarium with the second years yesterday. Earlier this year we collaborated with the Ocean Conservation Trust and it was great to see the student work from this project on display. Well done everyone!

Well done to all of our new first years for making it through 4 days of induction week in the middle of the heatwave. It was great to get out and about in the sun, with trips to the Hoe, the Barbican and The Box.

Great to see all the amazing student work on the walls of the National Marine Aquarium, from our recent collaboration with the Ocean Conservation Trust. The images will be on display there until the end of September:
