Sea Safari with Sound Diving ππ₯οΈ π¬
Young People from Honicknowle Youth Centre got the amazing opportunity to board the Moheet Rib and enjoy a day out in Plymouth Sound and beyond the breakwater fort.
The young people learnt about different marine life that live in our waters, about sea grass and its importance and how important it is to take care of the sea and itβs wildlife.
The young people helped with a small clean up mission and removed rubbish from the sea, experienced being a skipper and what it takes to be incharge of a rib. They were even lucky enough to see DOLPHINS!! Then on the way back we assisted in a rescue mission of another rib which was exciting for the young people.
The staff at Sound Diving were amazing and really made the trip a day to remember.

YOUNG CARERS SUMMER PROGRAMME - SPLASHDOWN QUAYWEST WATERPARK πβοΈπββοΈ
Earlier this week we took over 40 of our young carers to Splashdown Quaywest for a fun-filled day of riding the flumes and waterslides!
Visiting a waterpark can be beneficial for young carers because it provides a break from their caring responsibilities, providing a fun and relaxing environment to relieve stress. The physical activity and social interaction can improve their mental and emotional wellbeing and strengthen bonds between friends. As you can see, they really enjoyed the opportunity to take the pressure off, have fun and simply be a child for the day! π
