🚘 HOW LONG SHOULD IT TAKE YOU TO PASS YOUR DRIVING TEST? 🚘

Here are just two statements I hear all the time from pupils learning to drive…

“My mate passed her test after 20 hours!”

“My dad passed his test after 10 hours!”

Put 30 young pupils into a classroom for a lesson. The teacher will present the lesson, at the end of the lesson, not all of the pupils will attain the same level of understanding or grasp the concepts equally. Do we judge those pupils who take a little longer or need a little more help in grasping the concept or topic they are learning? Of course not. Everyone is an individual and learns at their own pace.

If you consider a running race of mixed abilities, the elite runners will pass the finish line quicker than those who come last, all will cover the same distance but some will take a little longer.

So when you learn to drive the formula is the same. You will learn at YOUR pace. In reality, the instructor can only facilitate learning at a pace that suits you.

Please don’t try and compete with others when you learn to drive. It’s not a race and it’s important to grasp the basics that form the foundation for a lifetime of safe driving.
I push people hard in the car, some harder than others but how hard I push is based on how quick they learn.

Take your time.

Get it right.

It’s a life time skill not a competition!
