Join us this Saturday the 8th of June for a pub quiz with a twist. From 2—4pm, Saturday crew Dom, Lou and Anna will be testing your knowledge with a pub quiz at The Plot, without the booze!

There are lots of opportunities for a tipple, but sober socialising can be tricky to find. So come along for snacks, soft drinks and silly quiz names!

⭐️ Thursday 20th June, 2—4pm & 4—6pm • Digital Bad/Good: workshop for kids aged 6-12 to learn about the good and the bad of technology.

🎉 We are racing through Spring, which can only mean one thing! Slowly but surely people are starting to get in touch about this year’s Union Street Party, which will take place on Sunday the 15th of September. That’s right, it’s party planning time!

♻️ It Takes A Village and Nudge are looking for people to get involved in our first Eco-nomical Fair at The Plot in June.

The event will offer affordable sustainable workshops and activities, and give space to local makers and environmentalists. If you’d like to run a workshop, offer kids’ activities or have a stall selling eco-friendly products at accessible prices, we’d love to hear from you.

For now we’ll be taking Union Organics to various markets across the South West, but long term it will be an urban farm based in C103 offering fresh, local produce, opportunities for young people, workshops, and more!

You wouldn’t think it looking out the window, but Spring is here! We know school holidays can be tricky to fill, so why not bring your kids to The Plot? ☔️

The Plot will be closed for the Good Friday bank holiday, but there’s plenty to get involved with coming up.

We’ve got these super cute colouring books at The Plot by and to keep little hands busy whilst you grab some lunch from , and It Takes A Village are offering some stimulating STEAM activities to keep their brains busy too. 😉

We have some wonderful musicians, workshops, comedians and bands throughout the day. These performances will take place in the central area at The Plot.

Feel Good Friday is almost here! Tomorrow our doors open for the first Health & Wellbeing Festival in association with NHS England and Argyle Community Trust so please pop down. We have many exhibitors and a full days worth of live entertainment so pop down to The Plot, 80 - 84 Union Street between 10am and 6pm.

March is looking busy! As well as our regular groups - SOUP, Rebel Crafts, Friday Crafternoons, Plymouth Hope’s Men’s group to name a few - we’ve got some exciting events coming up, including:

In February we, the front area of The Plot saw a big rejig, a fresh lick of paint brightened up the radio studio, and the Nudge shop now takes centre stage! We still have some Awakening tote bags and T-shirts left, as well as greeting cards, notebooks, pin badges and even some limited edition bucket hats! ☀️

Buying our merchandise helps us with our running costs, but more importantly it gets people talking about their local community, so head on down to and snap up some goodies!

✂️ Friday Crafternoons! ✂️

Every Friday, 2-5pm at The Plot, you can join us for arts and crafts and feel-good activities. The group is currently working on some gorgeous paper flowers, with a view to handing them out to passers-by on Union Street! The workshop is open to all ages and abilities, so why not come along and get crafty?

📣 We are hiring! 📣

Are you handy with a hammer? A dab hand at drilling? Get in touch! We are looking for a handyperson to be able to help out with basic repairs and maintenance, both planned and reactive, across all our buildings. This is an occasional role for which we are happy to pay a small retainer in order to have you on call to act within a reasonable timeframe. It would suit someone who is a qualified property maintenance operative, ideally with some basic plumbing and/or electrician skills.

Regular jobs will include monthly checks across our buildings, and ad-hoc repairs and maintenance will include things like unblocking drains, putting up shelves, and moving items between buildings. We estimate this will likely be around 5-20 hours a month. Please email your CV to [email protected] with your hourly rate and the skills you could bring to the team!

Feel Good Friday - a health & wellbeing festival brought to you by the NHS will be taking place at The Plot, Union Street, Plymouth on Friday 22nd March between 10am & 6pm. This event will be a chance to connect with various health and wellbeing organisations in addition there will be live entertainment and delicious food.

Very proud to be the winner of the Impact Award at Plymouth Social Enterprise Network Awards tonight. We are so lucky to be part of such a supportive and creative network.

Here Kevin from Plymouth Changing Futures is making sure volunteers are trained up in drug awareness and health and safety ready for the Awakening nights last month.

4 days left to apply to be a facilitator for our new Summer Holiday Programme for young people to explore what they would like to do in the future.

There's lots of exciting things planned and we're looking for a couple of people to bring it alive and make sure young people get as much from the experience as possible.
