‘’My name is Danni and I've been a part of i247 group for 7 years now, starting out as a call taker, before taking on more responsibility with admin tasks. My current position is the Weekend Team Leader where I manage a team for out of hours and help support my team throughout the weekends. During the week, I help other team leaders and their agents; supporting with bookings, emails, rotas and putting plans in place for my team ready for the weekend. Another key part of my role is upskilling my team and making sure they have the training they need.
This role, and my progression, has been super flexible even while working part time, which has made being a working mum so much easier. The best part is that I work with a great bunch of people. Work events have always been a great laugh and I have made so many great friends.’’
Last month, we set our teams a unique challenge: bring their automotive-inspired ideas to life using upcycled materials. As always, their competitive streaks kicked in and the results were pretty impressive.

Yesterday was our annual Summer BBQ at Holton Heath. The team enjoyed some delicious food and got very competitive during their challenges, Meanwhile, our Chesterfield team indulged in a BBQ-themed menu from their local, the Batch House.
Drumroll, please! We’re super excited to announce May’s Elevate winners!
Last month, a designated team from our Chesterfield office came to visit our HQ in Poole. During their visit they were finally able to meet colleagues in person, building some great relationships, and even had chance to enjoy fish and chips at Sandbanks Beach!
They really enjoyed their time here and nominated the team looking after them for an internal reward, as an expression of their appreciation for the amazing welcome, support and sharing their incredible knowledge and expertise.

We are thrilled to announce the success of our team’s fundraising walk, dedicated to raising awareness and providing support for families affected by dementia. It was an inspiring day filled with unity and a shared commitment to making a difference.
We want to thank everyone who laced up their shoes and took those steps for Alzheimer’s awareness. With the help of our amazing participants and supporters, we surpassed our fundraising goal and raised £650! 👏

March brought a few exciting changes to Holton Heath, including the introduction of new managers.
Here’s an introduction to our talented and dedicated management team:
Nicola - Having previously looked after our main contact centre, Nicola is now managing the Technical team in our Tyre department. ‘’My team is responsible for despatching work, progressing appointments, and undertaking tyre authorisations to control maintenance spend ensuring the right products are fitted, at the right time, for the right cost. An interesting fact about me is that I ran the UK Czechoslovakian Wolfdog Rescue, rescuing, fostering, and re-homing many dogs over the years’’
Jess – Has recently been promoted from trainer to customer service manager of our contact centre. ‘’My team is the bees’ knees in all things service, maintenance and repair bookings. Moving forward I will be looking after 2 dedicated inbound teams whereby we’ll be on point to help customers secure appointments for their maintenance needs.’’
Phil – Now manages our Downtime Management Team after spending time in various roles from customer service agent to customer resolution. ‘’My team consists of three areas that predominantly support our customers when their vehicles have gone off the road for repairs – their aim is to add value to the off-road journey by helping customers getting the vehicle back on the road as quickly as possible’’
Andy – ‘’I am proud to be the Customer Service Manager of our Inbound Tyre team. Our team answer calls day and night and help customers obtain tyre replacements via emergency mobile or centre appointment fitting services, keeping drivers on the road. They also keep me on my toes!’’
Dominique - runs our Learning and Development department. ‘’With a team of dedicated trainers, I go between our Dorset & Chesterfield sites onboarding new employees, developing existing employees & making sure all colleagues are supported within their roles and have the correct knowledge & tools to do their jobs. I am known for my funky fashion and owns over 120 pairs of shoes!’’
